Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Paro - Thimphu Capital City of Bhutan

  Upon your arrival in Paro International Airport, you shall be greeted by a aCholala Tours & Travels representatives and he/she shall brief you about the tours, itinerary, inclusions as well as cultural practices of Bhutan including Do’s and Don’ts. Then you shall be taken to Thimphu, Capital City of Bhutan. On arrival we check-in to your hotel, where you can fresh up and then we set out for your sightseeing to the followings;
  National Memorial Chorten of Bhutan
  Buddha Dordenma
  Motithang Takin Preserve
  
  Then we break out for lunch at one of the local eateries and sample local delicacies of Bhutan. For recommendation on restaurants in Thimphu, you can ask the guide.
  After lunch, sightseeing continues as you would be taken to
  Royal Textile Academy
  Simtokha Dzong
  Trashichhoe Dzong
  
  After taking insights of Thimphu, you would be dropped off at the hotel where you can enjoy a delicious dinner.

• Day 2 : Thimphu - Dochu La Pass - Punakha

  After Breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel at a tentative time of 8;30am. The distance between Thimphu to Punakha is 75kms and will take 3 hours. En-route, you would be making some stop and sightseeing at Dochula Pass. It’s about 45 minutes’ drive from Thimphu. After Dochula Pass we head towards Chimmi Lhakhang, the Temple of Fertility. Then we head to Punakha Dzong.
  In the evening, return to your hotel in Punakha for a comfortable overnight stay after your delectable dinner and plan for the next trip.

• Day 3 : ​Punakha - Paro

  Today after your lovely breakfast, we will head towards Paro. The distance between Punakha to Paro is 140kms and will take 5 hours. After reaching Paro, you can grab your lunch and then start your sightseeing at Paro like

  National Museum of Bhutan
  Dungtse Lhakhang
  Drukgyel Dzong Restoration site
  
  After sightseeing, we drop you by your hotel at Paro where you can rest and enjoy your dinner.

• Day 4 : Paro - Tiger's Nest Hike or Chele La Pass

  After your breakfast, you can start a hike to the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery. You can choose to ride a horse from the parking lot to the monasteries with your own expenses. If the full hike sounds a bit tough, you can hike for 1 hour to the cafeteria - a wooden tea-house restaurant which offers a good view of the monastery.
  
  After your successful hike, you will be dropped off to your hotel and enjoy your dinner

• Day 5 : ​Departure from Paro

  After breakfast and hearty talks, we drive you to the airport. Wishing you a very happy and safe journey back home or toward your next destination, we part our ways with hopes to see each other again.
