You will be picked up from your preferred location or hotel in Jaipur in a sophisticated car to begin visit to Bharatpur. Chandigarh to Bharatpur distance is 450 km which takes about 7.30 hours, a pleasant ride by car.
Day 1 : Guest Pick Up/ Drive to Bharatpur, Sightseeing
We move towards Bharatpur. Upon arrival we take a hotel. We see Lohagarh fort and Ganga temple
Lohagarh Fort: A stronghold of historical significance, it is surrounded by a ditch which used to be filled with water to check entry by potential foes. This fort is the house of many fascinating monuments like Kishori Mahal, Mahal Khas, Kothi Khas and Moti Mahal. A ruler built two structures, Jawahar Bhurj and Fateh Bhurj to commemorate victories over the British and the Mughals.
Ganga Temple: The highly revered deity of Ganga Maharani, made of white marble, is placed here. During its construction in mid-19th century the king asked all the wealthy citizens of the city to donate a month’s earning to support its construction. Night rest.
Day 2 : We See Deeg Water Palace and Bird Sanctuary
Deeg Water Palace: A beautiful place known for vibrant local fairs Deeg is an outstanding garden town situated in Bharatpur. The highlight of this site is a massive fort surrounded by gateways and waterways. Its interiors are almost in ruins but the watch tower enclosing a gun keeps tight vigil over the city. This place is renowned for its coloured fountains which are major tourist attraction.
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary: This world famous bird sanctuary is also known as Keoladeo National park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This is a major tourist attraction which is the shelter of over 370 species of birds. An old temple of Lord Shiva in the centre of the national park is behind its name. It was also known as the breeding ground for rare Siberian crane. This place is also famous for painted storks, deer, basking python and some more. Night rest.
Day 3 : Wildlife Sanctuary/ Back Trip
We spend the whole day in Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary.
After exploring major spots we begin back trip to Chandigarh for drop at preferred location.
