Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Early morning transfer for flight to Leh. Arrival and transfer to Hotel / guest House. Afternoon free.

• Day 2 : Thicksey

  Full day 6/7 hrs, Sightseeing at Shey, Thicksey and Hemis monasteries. By jeep, 110 km.

• Day 3 : Alchi

  Leh to Alchi, Likir Phyang monasteries visite.

• Day 4 : Leh to Chilling

  Leh to Chilling drive 2 hrs route, trek to Sku 4/5 hrs , Cross the Zanskar river by bridge and follow a lovely trail to camp at Skiu. 4/5 hrs..walk. Overnight Camp.

• Day 5 : Markha (3810m)

  Markha (3810m):- A full walking day 7/8 hrs. Cross the Markha River at two places to the village of Chalak. Beyond this settle-ment is an impressive line of chortens and a huge mound of goat horns. Follow the Markha River to the village of Markha to camp overnight.

• Day 6 : Thachungtse

  Thachungtse:- Follow the main trail passing the monastery at Humlung to the village of Hankar. We now go away from the wide valley and go up a narrow valley to the pastures at Thachungtse. (5-6hrs). Overnight-Camp.

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 7 : Nimaling (4700m)

  Nimaling (4700m):- Approx. 3-4hrs from Thachungtse, the trail climbs steeply to the plateau and pastures of Nimaling with impressive views of Kangyassey peak. Overnigth Camp.

• Day 8 : Nimaling to Chaktsang

  Nimaling to Chaktsang la base, 6 hrs trek.

• Day 9 : Base to Lato

  Rumtse ( via Chaktsang la 5080,m alt,) 6/7 hrs trek,

• Day 10 : Rumtse to Kyamar

  Rumtse to Kyamar (4383m), 4-5 hrs,trek.

• Day 11 : Kyamar to Tisaling

  Kyamar to Tisaling (4800m) via Kyumur La (4870m) and Mandalchan La (4996m) , 5-6 hrs,trek.

• Day 12 : Tisaling to Pangunagu

  Tisaling to Pangunagu (Tsokar 4398m) via ShibukLa (5016m) 5-6 hrs,trek.

• Day 13 : Pangunagu to Nuruchan

  Pangunagu to Nuruchan (4500m) 4-5 hrs,trek.

• Day 14 : Nuruchan to Rachungkaru

  Nuruchan to Rachungkaru via (4668m) via Dundunchanla (4712m) 3-5 hrs,trek.

• Day 15 : Rachungkaru to Gyamalhoma

  Rachungkaru to Gyamalhoma 6-7 hrs,trek.

• Day 16 : Gyamalhoma to Korzok

  Gyamalhoma to Korzok (Tsomoriri Lake).

• Day 17 : Tsokoriri

  Leh Jeep. 230 km, 7/8 hrs drive.

• Day 18 : Leh

  Delhi.
