Enjoy the views as you cruise past the Cape Brett Lighthouse, before arriving at the majestic Hole in the Rock. Your Kirra Tours Coach Captain will meet you at the wharf to transfer to your accommodation this evening.

The concert is complemented by mouth-watering buffet selections of Eastern and Western cuisine and divine desserts, including the very ‘Kiwi’ Pavlova.

Skirt some of the world’s largest man made pine forest as you travel to Wairakei where natural steam is harnessed to generate electricity. Next pause at the mighty Huka Falls where the full force of the Waikato River pours through a narrow chasm and crashes into the river below, before a quick stop at Lake Taupo, the largest lake in New Zealand and world famous for its trout fishing. Continue across the Central Plateau noted for its intensive forestry development to the Hawkes Bay region and the city of Napier, claimed to be the Art Deco capital of the world. Here you can view the much photographed bronze statue ‘Pania of the Reef’, erected in 1954 to pay homage to the ancient legend of Pania, a beautiful reef siren from the Napier area who fell in love with the son of a Maori Chief. Later watch as orchards and vineyards give way to lush farmlands as you pass through Hastings, Dannevirke and Woodville, before enjoying an afternoon stop at Mangatainoka, home to Tui Brewery.
