Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Paro - Thimphu

  The flight takes you over the great Himalayas, offering the most beautiful scenery of the world’s highest glacial peaks. As you enter Paro valley, you will see the rinpung dzong (Spiritual and Temporal seat), the national museum and the Paro town. Our team will welcome you at the airport and drive you through the fascinating valley of Paro to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. The distance from airport to Thimphu is 55kms and takes about 1.45 hours along the Pachu River and wangchu River, and through paddy fields, orchards and farms.
  Dinner and overnight stay at Thimphu.

  • Meals & Drinks : Lunch, Dinner

• Day 2 : Thimphu - Punakha

  After breakfast proceed to Punakha across Dochula Pass (3,100m). The pass offers the most spectacular view over the greater eastern Himalayas including highest peak of Bhutan. Tea break will be at Cafeteria. En-route make short excursion about an hour to the temple of divine madman, also well known as the temple of fertility. It’s fascinating to walk through villages and the rice fields. Afternoon visit Punakha the capital city of Bhutan till 1955 and still the Je Khenpo; the Chief of Abbot resides there during the winter season. Punakha Dzong was built by a Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel in 1638 and situated at the junction of Pho Chu and Mo Chu Rivers.
  Dinner and overnight stay at Punakha.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

• Day 3 : Punakha - Paro

  Morning drive back to Paro for a overnight stay, crossing Dochu La Pass. Later in Paro, visit to Ta Dzong(Museum), Rinpung Dzong(fortress) and Kichu Temple. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

• Day 4 : Paro(Tiger's Nest)

  Early morning hike to Tiger's Nest, world famous Buddhist temple. It takes 3 hour hike uphill and 1 hour downward. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Meals & Drinks : Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

• Day 5 : Paro - Departure (Exit)

  Morning our team will transfer you to airport for your onward flight to Delhi, Bangkok, Singapore, Kolkata or Bangladesh
