Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival & transfer to Darjeeling (80KM, 3 to 3.30HRS)

  On Arrival at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) & Transfer to Darjeeling - Our representative will be there to receive the you at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) - He will assist you for the onward journey to Darjeeling – Situated at an elevation of 2123 meters or 7100 ft, the land of breathtaking
  beauty, amidst rolling tea gardens, crowned by the majestic Himalayas – This international destination is popularly known as the Queen of the hills Darjeeling is a town in the Indian state of West Bengal & provide he will also you details of your tour. Reach Darjeeling and check into the hotel. The evening is free to stroll around Mall or local market & over night stay at Darjeeling.

• Day 2 : Sightseeing in Darjeeling – (Full day)

  Early morning at 4.30 am on the way to Tiger hill for a magnificent sunrise view and Kachenjunga. Time taken to reach Tiger Hill - 45 mins. On the way back explore Ghoom monastery which is also worth seeing. Don’t forget to buy cheap stuffs outside Ghoom monastery. You will also see Ghoom railway station which is the highest railway station in India situated at an altitude of 7,500 ft.
  After breakfast, on the way to “mixed point” sightseeing which includes Japanese Temple, Japanese Peace Pagoda (just near to Japanese Temple), Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (just near Himalayan Zoological Park), Tenzing Rock (for mountaineers), and Tea estate, Ava Art Gallery and Rock Garden Only worth places to see are Tiger Hill, Ghoom Monastery and Tea Garden. You will be back by 4.00 pm. After lunch/snacks you can take a walk at Darjeeling market, Mall road and Relax on Chowrasta. Evening free for personal activities. Overnight in Darjeeling.

• Day 3 : Darjeeling to Gangtok Transfer

  Darjeeling to Gangtok Transfer and Full day Gangtok Local Sight Seeing (135 kms/ 3.3 hour) Today early morning, after breakfast, check out from the hotel and head for a memorable journey. The journey from Darjeeling to Gangtok is a beautiful experience. The road drops from Ghoom 7407 ft., to Teesta Bazar 700 ft., in 1 2 km and passes through lush green forests and tea gardens. One can stop at the view point of "Lovers Meet" from where the confluence of river Teesta and Rangeet can be seen.

• Day 4 : Tsongo Lake Baba Mandir & MG Marg

  After breakfast go for full day excursion to Tsongo Lake & Baba Mandir Tsomgo (Changu) lake: The Tsomgo Lake in Sikkim is a holy lake worshipped by the Sikkimese. Tsomgo (Changu) lake, which is hardly 20 km away from the famous Nathula Pass and about 400 km from Lhasa. Its cool, placid water harmonies with the picturesque beauty around, which is increased by its reflection in the lake. A small temple of Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside. Primula flowers and other alpine plantation grow around the Tsomgo lake Sikkim, which has an average depth of 50 ft, provides a pristine beauty to this place. During the winter months the Tsomo Lake becomes frozen.

• Day 5 : Gangtok to Lachung (122 kms / 6 hrs)

  After breakfast start for Lachung. On the way stop for sightseeing spots like Tashi View Point, Kabi Lungtsok, Naga Waterfall, the Confluence of Lachen Chu & Lachung Chu at Chungthang.

• Day 6 : Yumthang Valley tour & Gangtok Transfer (116 kms / 6 hrs)

  After breakfast leave for Yumthang (11,800 ft.), the “Valley of flowers”. Yumthang is a lush green valley surrounded by snow peaks on all sides where the tree line ends. You will be travelling across the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary which has more than 1 20 species of Rhododendron trees and is also the home to the endemic Rhododendron Niveum, the State Tree of Sikkim. In April / May / June the valley erupts in a riot of colours as Rhododendrons, Primulae and many other Alpine Flowers are in full bloom.

• Day 7 : Departure Transfer to NJP/IXB/Siliguri (125KM, 4 to 4.30HRS)

  Now it’s time for finally say goodbye the Himalayas. After breakfast check out from hotel in time and take the departure transfer to NJP Railway Station / Airport for your onward journey. Reach NJP/Siliguri/Airport Tour Ends.
