Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Drive to Almora/ Sightseeing

  Guest picked up. We drive to Almora. Upon arrival we take a hotel and after little rest and refreshment we begin sightseeing. We see Kasar Devi temple, Katarmal Sun Temple and Gobind Vallabh Pant Museum.
  
  Kasar Devi Temple: It is a world famous hippie trail and the most exciting tourist place in Almora. Every year special annual festival is organised by the villagers and temple authorities. Kasar Devi temple became famous after Swami Vivekananda visited the place. Just outside the village is located Crank’s Ridge which was one of the popular destination during the hippie movement. One of the reasons for site being a major tourist attraction. American writer and Buddhist scholar Robert Thurman came to Crank’s Ridge in 1971 to study under Lama Govinda. His daughter Uma Thurman, Hollywood actor, spent part of her childhood here.
  
  
  
  Katarmal Sun Temple: Kartarmal is a hidden gem of Almora popular for the pre-historic sun temple located amidst the beautiful locale. The magnificent view of the city from the temple is an add-on experience to the tourists. It is a temple complex that consists of a main temple for sun God and 44 shrines dedicating to sun God.
  
  
  
  Gobind Vallabh Pant Museum: Located on mall road in Almora the museum has exquisite collection of artefacts and ancient items from the times of Chand and Katyuri dynasties. There is no entry fee for tourists. Night rest.

• Day 2 : Almora Sightseeing

  We visit Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary and Zero point
  
  Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary: Situated on top of Jhandi Dhar Hills, Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is a famous wildlife destination to explore in Almora. The sanctuary is surrounded by dense forests and is an absolute thrill to watch animals here from a distance. The sanctuary has a variety of flora and fauna that are of major attraction to the tourists. Some of the animals you can see here are leopards, jungle cats, barking deers, langurs, wood peckers and so on.
  
  
  
  Zero Point: It is located in close proximity to Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary and is a calm and mind soothing destination and a must visit view point of this picturesque city as it gives a majestic view of the Himalayan Ranges, Kedar Nath peak and Nanda Devi. Back to hotel after watching a stunning sun set. Night rest.

• Day 3 : Almora Sightseeing/ Back Trip

  We see Martola, kalimath and Bright end corner
  
  Martola: The most charming destination that surrounds the Almora city and no tourist misses it. The place is best known for the lush greenery around it and hill top view. It is the best spot for family getaways.
  
  
  
  Bright End Corner: It is another beautiful and exciting nature hub. It is dedicated to Swami Vivekananda as he spent several days in meditation here. There are several meditation centres around this destination.
  
  
  
  
  After exploring major spots we begin back trip to Jaipur for drop at preferred location.
