Jiri Everest Base Camp Trek is a relatively long but more adventurous trekking in Nepal. This trek requires few more days because you will trek from Jiri Bazaar and enter into the Khumbu region rather than direct flight from Kathmandu to Lukla.

This Jiri to Everest Base Camp Trekking offers you the extra excitement through the hills in the Dolakha district and it will be good practice to walk up to the Everest Base Camp. But you must be physically and mentally fit to face this challenging long trekking.

You will drive from Kathmandu to Jiri, the starting point of Jiri Everest Base Camp trek. From Jiri, passes through the villages in Deurali, Sete, Junbesi, Nunthala and more along the trekking trail. Enter Phakding village in the Khumbu region and continue the famous trekking route to the Everest Base Camp passing and staying overnight at various tea houses in the villages of Shepas.

From Everest Base Camp you will return with ups and downs to Lukla airport and fly back to Kathmandu.

• Day 1 :

  Arrival and welcome day in Kathmandu (1300m), hotel transfer and rest

• Day 2 :

  Trekking preparation and sightseeing day around the Kathmandu valley, o/n hotel

• Day 3 :

  Drive Kathmandu to Jiri (2370m), 187 km and takes 8 hours

• Day 4 :

  Trek Jiri to Deurali (2700m) for 5 hour

• Day 5 :

  Trek Deurali to Sete (2575m) for 6 hour

• Day 6 :

  Trek Sete to Junbesi (2675m) for 7 hour

• Day 7 :

  Trek Junbesi to Nunthala (2220m) for 6 hour

• Day 8 :

  Trek Nunthala to Bupsa (2300m), for 6 hour

• Day 9 :

  Trek Bupsa to Surkhe (2290m), for 6 hour

• Day 10 :

  Trek Surkhe to Phakding (2610m), for 5 hour

• Day 11 :

  Trek Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3444m), for 6 hour

• Day 12 :

  Acclimatization day at Namche Bazaar and visit Everest View Hotel

• Day 13 :

  Trek Namche Bazaar to Tengboche Monastery (3860m), for 6 hour

• Day 14 :

  Trek Tengboche to Dingboche (4410m), for 5 hour

• Day 15 :

  Acclimatization day at Dingboche

• Day 16 :

  Trek Dingboche to Lobuche (4910m), for 6 hour

• Day 17 :

  Trek Lobuche to Gorakshep (5100m) and visit Everest Base Camp (5350m), for 6 hour

• Day 18 :

  Early morning visit Kala Patthar (5545m). Trek back to Dingboche, for 6 hour

• Day 21 :

  Fly Lukla back to Kathmandu for 30 min and rest day in Kathmandu
