Day 1 : Johannesburg
Departure from the jungle of Johannesburg and travel down the panoramic route of the Lowveld. We will stop at the historic town of Dullstroom before we put camp at Mac Mac Forest Retreat near Graskop.
Day 2 : Graskop And Surroundings
aWe have an early breakfast before we spend some time at Graskop, and see who the brave ones are amongst us at the big swing. We will also visit God's Window and surroundings, before we make our way to Maholoholo animal sanctuary. We will put up camp at Amanzimlotzi.
Day 3 : Kruger
We start the day with coffee and rusks before we enter the Kruger National Park at Orpen Gate. We spend the day driving on some of the Kruger's best roads until we put up camp at Skukuza and then go on a night game drive.
Day 4 : Kruger
We have an early morning coffee and rusks before we go on a morning game drive with the Park's rangers. After brunch we work our way down to Komatipoort, where we put up camp and enjoy dinner around the camp fire.
Day 5 : Xai-Xai Mozambique
We get up very early; have some coffee and rusks, before we head of to the Lebombo Border post between South-Africa and Mozambique. We will have brunch just before Maputo, where we will stop at the flea market. We will then head for Xai-Xai, where we will put up camp.
Day 6 : Xai-Xai
We get up early and have some coffee and rusks before spending the day at our leisure with optional activities like scuba diving, fishing ect and enjoying the white beaches of Mozambique.
Day 7 : Mozambique
We get up early and after breakfast we make our way through the wetlands of Mozambique up to Inhambane, where we will put up camp. (B, D).
Day 8 : Mozambique
We get up at sunrise and after breakfast, leaving for Nova Mabane, where we put up camp, and book the optional activities. (B, D).
Day 9 : Nova Mabane
We get up early, and after breakfast you can do all your optional activities like fishing, scuba diving, snorkelling, horse riding etc.
Day 10 : Cabeca De Veiho
An early rise at 05h00, and after breakfast, we work our way to the north of Mozambique, where we have lunch at Inchope, before heading for Cabeca de Veiho where we will have a look at the old man's face. We will then head off to our camp site, where we will have some dinner around the campfire.
Day 11 : Cohora Bassa Dam
Up at 06h00 and leaving after breakfast, we will make our way to the famous Cohora Bassa dam, where we will put up camp and enjoy ourselves around the dam.
Day 12 : Into Malawi
An early rise, as we leaving after breakfast, and around 07h30, for the border post between Mozambique and Malawi. After the border we make our way to central Malawi, and put up camp in Lilongwe, the capital of Malawi. We then explore the town.
Day 13 : Lake Malawi
After breakfast we visit the Cultural market and Memorial tower, before heading off to Kande beach at Lake Malawi, where we will put up camp and book the optional activities like jet ski, scuba diving, horse riding, snorkelling etc.
Day 14 : Lake Malawi
An early rise, and after breakfast, you spend the day at your leisure with the optional activities.
Day 15 : North Malawi
After breakfast and at about 08h00, we leave Kande beach to the north, where we will put up camp close to the border of Tanzania. (B, L, D).
Day 16 : Tanzania
An early rise, and after breakfast, we make our way to the border post, before we put up camp at Iringa, and spend the night around the camp fire.
Day 17 : Dar Es Salaam
After breakfast we make our way to Morogoro where we will have lunch, before heading for Dar es Salaam, where we will put up camp. We will book the optional activities for the next day and for those who want to visit Zanzibar (own expense).
Day 18 : Dar Es Salaam
After breakfast we will spend the day at our own leisure, doing all sorts of water sports, as for those who want to visit Stone Town in Zanzibar (all optional).
Day 19 : Dar Es Salaam
An early rise as we leave after breakfast to Kunduchi Wet n Wild water park for the day, where we enjoy the day in the swimming pools and on a variety of slides and super tubes. We will have dinner at our camp site this evening.
Day 20 : North Tanzania
An early rise, as we have a long drive ahead. After breakfast we make our way from Dar es Salaam through the beautiful country of Tanzania, to the north, where we will have lunch at Segera, before we make our way to Moshi. Here we will put up camp and spot the famous Kilimanjaro and take beautiful pictures of this world heritage site.
Day 21 : North Tanzania
An early rise, and after breakfast we leave for Ngorongora crater, another world heritage site, where we will put up camp and do our bookings for the next day. We have dinner around the camp fire, while listening to the sounds of the night life at the crater.
Day 22 : North Tanzania
After breakfast we go on a game drive for the day in the Ngorongora crater, and try to spot the big five.
Day 23 : Kenya
As day break we get up, and have some breakfast, before we leave around 8h00 for the border post Namanga, to enter into Kenya and work our way to Nairobi. Here we will put up camp, and have a last dinner together, before some of the guests have a flight back home the next day.
Day 24 : Kenya Stage 2 Start
STAGE 2
An early rise and after breakfast, we drop the guests that is leaving off at the airport, and pick up some new guests before we make our way down to the south for the border post of Tanzania. After the border we make our way to Moshi. We will put up camp, with Kilimanjaro in the background.
Day 25 : Tanzania
As day break we will have some breakfast, before leaving at about 08h00 to Tanga beach where we will put up camp. We will book our optional activities for the next day, before having a dinner together around the camp fire.
Day 26 : Tanga Beach
An early rise and after breakfast, we spend the day at our own leisure, as we do all the optional activities like scuba diving, horse riding etc.
Day 27 : To Iringa
We get up at 06h00, have some breakfast, and leave to Chalize, where we will stop en-route for lunch. (Own expense) We will put up camp at Iringa.
Day 28 : Lake Malawi
As day break we have some breakfast, before leaving at about 8h30 for Mbeya. From here we leave for the border and work our way to Chitimba, where we will put up camp and book our activities for the next day. We spend the night around the camp fire, listening to the sounds of Africa.
Day 29 : Lake Malawi
Up at 06h00 with an early breakfast, as we head off for our optional activities.
Day 30 : Zambia
Up early, and after breakfast, we leave for Lundazi border post, where we will enjoy a nice lunch. From here we leave for a wildlife camp in south Zambia. Here we will put up camp and enjoy dinner around the campfire, listening to all the night sounds.
Day 31 : South Zambia
An early rise, and after coffee and rusks, we go on a morning game drive with the Park rangers. On our return we will enjoy a brunch, before relaxing around the pool or at our own leisure. The evening we will enjoy dinner around the camp fire, sharing our experiences of the day.
Day 32 : Lusaka
An early rise at 05h00, having coffee and rusks, before leaving for Nyimba, where we will have brunch. From here we will make our way through the country side to the capital of Zambia, Lusaka where we will put up camp.
Day 33 : Lusaka
An early rise, having breakfast, before leaving for the Reptile Park. After our tour of the park, we leave for Lusaka to have lunch and explore town. The afternoon we will return to our camp and have dinner, sharing all the interests of the day.
Day 34 : Victoria Falls
As day break, and after some coffee and rusks, we work our way down south, where we will enjoy some brunch in Chomba. We then work our way further down to Livingstone Waterfront, where we will put up camp and book our optional activities for the next day at the Victoria Falls like white water rafting (rated number one in the world), big swing, elephant rides and many more.
Day 35 : Victoria Falls
We spend the day at our own leisure at the Victoria Falls, before we get together at 16h00 for a dinner cruise on the mighty Zambezi (A not to miss experience) and say our goodbyes to those who are leaving from here the next day.
Day 36 : Start Of Stage 3
An early rise at 06h00, and after breakfast, we drop the guests leaving off at the airport, and pick up some new guests, before we visit the Victoria Falls. We make our way into Zimbabwe and then to Kasane Border post where we will enter into Botswana. We will put up camp, and take part in a Sun downer cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.
Day 37 : Botswana
An early rise at 04h30, having coffee and rusks, before you are heading into Chobe National Park for a morning game drive. On your return we will have a brunch, before leaving for Nata where we will put up camp.
Day 38 : Botswana
We rise at 06h00 and after breakfast, we leave Nata via Francistown down to Palapye, where we will put up camp and spend our last evening together around the camp fire.
Day 39 : Back To Johannesburg
An early rise and after coffee and rusks, we head off to the border at Martinsdrift, and enjoy brunch at Lepalale (Ellisras). Then onto the final stretch to Johannesburg, where we will say our goodbyes.
