Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Leh

If you are planning to have an anti-altitude pill before travel such as Diamox, then we strongly recommend consulting an experienced doctor before you have it. On arrival, Our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Leh. The rest of the day will be for you to relax and to acclimatize your body to the low level of Oxygen. (Since you are reaching an altitude of 3500 meters approximately from 200 meters in just one hour’s time), you may be excited and would want to explore everything on the very first day of your Magical Ladakh tour. However, it is your body which needs to get acclimatized to such height and climate. We sincerely suggest that you rest on the first day for body acclimatization. Evening, a full through inspection of the bikes with our mechanic and then take a ride for to know the torque characteristic of the bike. The tricky bends and stretches on the road will help you test the characteristics of the bike and acquaint yourself to handle the motor beast for your entire tour. Enjoy a fun ride around Leh Valley. Later, come back to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 2 : Monestic tours around Leh

Today is the day for cultural immersion in and around Leh. Sightseeing will include a visit to Thiskey Gompa, one of the most breathtaking monasteries in Ladakh. Your first stop on this day of Leh sightseeing, Hemis Monastery is a perfect place to absorb such positive vibes and experience the traditions of this picturesque destination. Located on the western bank of the gushing Indus River, the monastery is built upon a green hillside inside a gorge, surrounded by a gorgeous mountainous vista. Having seen something so lush and serene, head to the Thiksey Monastery to elevate this experience. One of the biggest gompas in Ladakh, it houses an abundance of intrinsic Tibetan architecture. There are paintings of the holy thangkas & ferocious deities, along with large pillars engraved with Buddha’s precious teachings. Absorb the spirituality and warmth this beautiful structure has to offer and enjoy a picturesque view of the green Indus valley expanse. After a day full of such a Magical Ladakh cultural extravaganza, head back to the hotel on your Royal Enfield. Relax & unwind, and enjoy a scrumptious dinner before heading to your room for a comfortable nights’ sleep.

Day 3 : Leh to Nubra Valley Via Khardungla Pass: 140 Km / 5 -6 Hours

Early morning proceeds to Nubra Valley via the World’s Highest Motorable road (5602 Mts) Khardungla Pass on your 3rd day of Magical Ladakh tour. Khardung La Pass (18,380ft above sea level): It is not very often that one gets to ride on a road at an altitude of 18,380 feet. That is where Khardungla Pass, meaning the ‘Pass of Lower Castle,’ is located on the way from Leh to the Nubra Valley in Ladakh. It is the highest motorable road in the world as signs put up by the Border Roads Organization proudly proclaim. Arrive at Nubra Valley and proceed for a visit to the White Sand Dunes at Hunder. You can also enjoy a camel ride here (Camel ride on direct payment basis). Nubra Valley: Popularly called the orchard of Ladakh, Nubra valley offers a graceful view of yellow and pink wild roses in summer and a carpet of wild lavender in the post-monsoon season. You will definitely be overwhelmed to see the Bactrian Camels (Shaggy double hump Camel) around sand dunes. Thereafter, check in at Swiss comfortable Camp or Hotel. The evening is for you to spend at leisure. Dinner & overnight stay at the camp or hotel.

Day 4 : Nubra Valley to Leh Via Khardung la Pass: 140 Kms/ 5 - 6 Hours

The morning after a delectable Breakfast at the Hotel/Camp proceeds to Diskit Monastery. Diskit Monastery: One of the oldest temples of this area, the temple has a huge idol of Tsong-Kha-pa, crowned with a Gelugpa yellow hat. The Diskit Gompa dates back to the 14th century and owes its inception to Changzem Tserab Zangpo, a disciple of Tsong-Kha-pa. Post the Diskit Monastery, proceed for the backward journey to Leh, once again riding via Khardungla pass the World Highest Motorable road. In the evening, you can explore Leh bazaar for souvenir and some shopping on your own. Later, enjoy your dinner & a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 : Leh - Pangong Lake (approx. 140 km/ one way)

After breakfast at the hotel, ride to Pangong Lake on the Indo China border. On your way, you will cross Changla Pass, the third highest motorable road in the world. The whole journey is laden with magical sceneries of never-ending Himalayan mountain ranges. Passing such gorgeous bounties of nature, reach Pangong Lake, one of the largest brackish lakes in Asia, situated at a height of 4,250 meters. Imagine a clear blue lake creating soothing sounds with its waves, a throng of mountains in the background, sand and small pebbles everywhere, and a long road penetrating this gorgeous scenery, leading its way to the ever-expanding enthralling vistas – this is something you would experience on this magical Ladakh excursion.Pangong Lake: The picturesque lake is one of the major draws of the Leh-Ladakh valley. a location of several film shootings and known for its pristine waters surrounded by awe-inspiring mountains, Pangong Lake is a prime tourist attraction. The long and narrow lake lies in the neighborhood of the famous Chushul Mountains. In the evening, check-in at your camps in Pangong. Enjoy your dinner and an overnight stay at the camp.

Day 6 : Pangong Lake to Leh (approx. 140 km/one way)

In the morning have a delectable breakfast at your camp in Pangong. Thereafter, proceed on your journey back to Leh, once again riding via the Chang-la pass. Upon your arrival in Leh, you may enjoy the evening at leisure. Later, enjoy your dinner & a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 7 : Sham Valley Tour

On your last day of Magical Ladakh tour, in the morning, after breakfast, drive to Sangam (Confluence). On your way, visit Magnetic Hill and Gurudwara Patthar Sahib. Visit Confluence of Zanskar and Indus River. Magnetic Hill: Can anyone ever imagine the movement of a vehicle up a steep mountain with its engines off? Reach Magnetic Hill to experience this phenomenon which sounds unbelievable. Gurudwara Patthar Sahib: Gurudwara Pathar Sahib is a beautiful Gurudwara constructed in the memory of Guru Nanak, about 25 miles away from Leh on the Leh-Kargil road. The Gurudwara was built in 1517 to commemorate the visit of Guru Nanak Dev to the Ladakh region, the founder Guru of the Sikh faith. On your way back, visit Ladakh Hall of fame. Hall of Fame: Hall of Fame in Leh is a must visit for every individual of India. This is constructed by the Indian Army. You will find memorabilia, eminent defense personalities’ biographies, images and weapons used during Kargil war and belongings of enemy soldiers found at war site.
