Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Nairobi/Maasai Mara

0700hrs pick at your Nairobi hotel and drive through the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley to Maasai Mara Game Reserve, arriving Mara Leisure Camp in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge

Day 2 : Maasai Mara

Full day spent exploring the Reserve. Game drives are flexible, with option of going out with picnic lunch boxes to spend entire day in the park, or you can choose to have early morning and late afternoon game drives. The spectacle of predator versus prey dominates Kenya's greatest park. Golden-maned lion prides feast on the abundance of plain grazers. Solitary leopards haunt the acacia trees lining the Mara River, while cheetahs prowl the plains. Yet even when the migration is quiet, the Mara offers arguably the most scintillating game-viewing in Africa; great herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephant and giraffe, and thousands of elands, buffaloes, impalas and Grant's gazelles. Day 3 : Maasai Mara/Nairobi

Early morning pre-game drive, returning to the Lodge for late breakfast. Depart Mara and drive back to Nairobi arriving approx 1400hrs. Transfer to your city hotel or airport for outbound flight home.

How to Book

To book any of our safari package, simply send an email to; info@liontrailssafaris.com or liontrailssafaris@gmail.com. Please remember to indicate the travel date, number of days, budget and the preferred itinerary and the number of person travelling. We will respond to your request within 24hrs.

Note: Once you book any safari with us, we will secure your booking and send you an invoice detailing the payment details.

Payment Policy

Due to the pre-payment policy applied by our suppliers (hotels, Lodges & flights), we require a 30% deposit on booking confirmation and the balance (70%) payable 30 days before the commencement of the safari. For peace of mind, we do allow a 50% deposit on booking confirmation and balance payable in cash on arrival!

NB: We always pre-pay our suppliers to enhance efficiency and good working relationship......

We have 3 mode of payments:

a) By bank wire/electronic transfer to our bank account here in Nairobi Kenya. The funds take 2-3 working days to reach our accountour!

b) PayPal - This mode attracts a 4.8% receiving fee charge on the amount payable. The funds are received instantly!

c) Credit Card - This mode also attracts a 4.5% bank surcharge on the amount payble. Due to fraud & related issues, we only charge the physical card in the presence of the actual card holder!

Cancellation Policy

In the event that a safari is cancelled, the following cancellation penalties apply:

- 45 to 60 days - full refund less US$ 150 administration fees

- 30 to 45 days - 35% of the Safari price

- 10 to 30 days - 50% of the Safari price

- Under 10 days and no show up - NO REFUND

- Incase of reduced length of stay - NO REFUND
