This tour is a combination of the Cultural tour with Nimalung and Kurjey Tshechu (meaning "Festival") where you can see various Mask dances performed by the Monks in the courtyard of the respective monasteries. The Tour will lead you to the beautiful valley of Bumthang and Gangtey/ Phobjikha valley (The Most beautiful Glacial valleys in the Himalayas) Cultural and spiritual hub of Bhutan, the Bumthang Valley. Time of Festival: 21st to 23rd June, 2018.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Paro - Druk Air/Bhutan Airlines - Area altitude: 2,280m

  Your Guide from Bhutan Mystical Tours will receive you at the airport.
  Visit Ta Dzong, an ancient watch tower.
  Visit Rimpong Dzong.

• Day 2 : Paro - Thimphu - Area Altitude: 2,320m - Travelling Distance: 50kms - Time Taken: 1hr 15mins

  After breakfast drive to Thimphu.
  Visit kuensel Phodrang where sits a large statue of Buddha
  Visit National Zoo where Takin (Bhutan’s national animal) is been preserved.
  Visit Bhutanese Traditional Hospital.

• Day 3 : Thimphu Sightseeing - Area altitude: 2,320m - Time taken: Full Day

  Hike to the Cheri Monastery.
  Visit Folk Heritage Museum.
  Visit Bhutanese Painting School.

• Day 4 : Thimphu - Area Altitude: 1,310m - Time taken: Full Day

  National Memorial Chorten (1974) built in honour of our late King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk.
  Textile Museum.
  Changangkha Lhakhang.
  Visit National Postal centre where you can print your own photo stamp.

• Day 5 : Thimphu - Punakha - Area Altitude: 1,310m - Travelling Distance: 74kms - Time Taken: 2 hr 30 Mins

  Drive to Punakha via Dochula Pass.
  On the way, stop a while to view Chimi Lhakhang, which was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley in 15th century.
  Visit Punakha Dzong built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal and is situated between Pho Chu (Male River) and Mo Chu (Female River).

• Day 6 : Punakha - Gangtey - Area Altitude: 3,120m - Travelling Distance: 80kms - Time Taken: 3hrs

  Drive to the beautiful valley of Gangtey.
  Enroute sightseeing in the valley of Wangdiphodrang includes: visit to Wangdiphodrang Dzong built in 1638.
  Visit Gangtey Gompa Monastery from outside.
  Explore Phobjikha valley, famous for the Black Necked Cranes during winter.

• Day 7 : Gangtey - Trongsa - Bumthang - Area altitude: 2,800m - Travelling Distance: 137kms - Time taken: 6hr

  After breakfast, drive to Trongsa.
  Visit Trongsa Dzong, the most impressive Dzong of Bhutan, built in its present form in 1644 by Chogyal Minjur Tempa.
  Trongsa Dzong is the ancestral home of the present Royal Family and first two hereditary kings ruled Bhutan from this Dzong.
  Then Visit Ta Dzong, an ancient watch tower.
  After Lunch, drive to Bumthang.

• Day 8 : Bumthang Festival & Sightseeing - Area Altitude: 2,800m

  Witness Nimalung Festival.
  Evening visit Jakar Dzong which literally means "The Castle of White Bird".

• Day 9 : Bumthang Festival & Sightseeing - Area altitude: 2,800m

  Witness Nimalung Festival.
  In the evening, visit Jambay Lhakhang.
  In October one of the most spectacular festival, "Jambay Lhakhang Drup" is staged here.

• Day 10 : Bumthang Sightseeing - Area Altitude: 2,800m

  Witness Kurjey Tshechu.
  Visit Tamshing Lhakhang (Temple of the good message).
  In the evening, visit Membarstho which literally means, "The burning Lake".

• Day 11 : Bumthang - Thimphu - Area Altitude: 2,300m | Travelling distance: 212kms - Time taken: 8hrs

  Early breakfast, drive to Thimphu.

• Day 12 : Thimphu - Paro | Area altitude: 2,200m | Travelling distance: 50kms | Time taken: 1hr 15mins

  Free for shopping and photography in the town.
  Visit Handicraft emporium.
  After Lunch, drive to Paro.
  Visit a Farm House.

• Day 13 : Paro - Departure | Area altitude: 2,200m

  Early Morning drive to Airport and Farewell.
