Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Guest Picked Up/ Agra Arrival

  Guest picked up in the morning and we proceed towards Agra. Upon arrival we take a hotel. After rest and refreshment we drive straight to the magnificent Taj Mahal.
  
  Taj Mahal: Symbol of love Taj Mahal is one of the most glorious buildings built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. It was constructed during 1632-1654 AD in the memory of his much-loved wife Mumtaj Mahal. Monument takes on different coloring at different times of the day, from a rosy pink in the morning, lustrous white in the evening and golden at night when lit by the moon. We see the Taj in all the shades. It is believed that the changing color resembles the changing mood of the queen. Night rest.

• Day 2 : Sightseeing/Back tour

  We explore Agra Fort, Baby Taj Mahal and Fatehpur Sikri. In the morning we explore Agra fort and baby Taj.
  
  Agra fort: Agra Fort, a UNESCO world heritage site, is a great structure built in red sandstone. It was built as a military structure by Akbar and was transformed into a palace by his son, Shah Jahan. A heartbreaking story is attached with this fort. It is said that Shah Jahan was held in prison by his son Aurangzeb for 8 years in the octagonal tower, ‘Mussaman Burj’ of Red Fort where he died. Many intricate structures are present inside the fort which are worth exploration.
  
  
  Itimād-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj): It is a very beautiful red sandstone structure which is a Mughal mausoleum. Jahangir conferred the title to ‘Itmad-ud-Daulah’ meaning ‘Pillar of the Government’ to his father-in-law Ghiyas Beg. Baby Taj was built by Noor Jahan in the memory of her father. Though it is not as fabulous as Taj Mahal but it is delicate in appearance due to widespread use of superbly carved marble lattice screens. After exploring Agra fort and baby Taj we drive straight to Fatehpur Sikri.
  
  
  
  Fatehpur Sikri: This famous city was built by Akbar. It is one of the most beautiful examples of Mughal Architecture but was abandoned over scarcity of water. Here we see Buland Darwaja, Diwan-i-Khas and Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti.
  
  
  Buland Darwaja: This one of the largest gateways in the world is 54 metres high. It was built by Akbar to celebrate his triumph over Gujarat. It opens from 6 am to 6 pm daily.
  
  
  Diwan-i-Khas: At this place Emperor Akbar used to discuss about faiths related to different religions with people.
  
  
  Tomb of Sheikh Salim Chisti: This highly admired place is a white marble structure showcasing excellence in craftsmanship. Tour ends.
  
  
  
  After exploring major spots we begin back trip to Noida for drop at preferred location.
