Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : IXB/NJP to Gorumara / Lataguri (90kms in 3hrs)

  Our representative will warmly welcome you on arrival and assist you to the vehicle for the further journey. He will provide you all the relevant documents (Hotel vouchers and Itinerary).
  There after you will depart towards your dream destinations. It is a rich tropical forests, innumerable hill streams cutting across the green carpet, undulating plains makes this a tourist hotspot - It ensures a pleasant climate round the year - Gorumara National Park, Chapramari Wild Life Sanctuary, Jhalong, Bindu, Samsing, Suntalekhola are the famous tourist spots known for its Wild life and Tea tourism. After reaching at Gorumara / Lataguri we assist you to check in at hotel and take rest.
  Move towards Chapramari Forest Jeep Safari at afternoon. After enjoying wild life and natural beauty of park, return to resort. Evening is free at leisure. We suggest you to sleep early for next day tour. Overnight stay at Gorumara / Lataguri.

  • Hotspots : Gorumara National Park

• Day 2 : Wild life Experience & Local sightseeing

  Early morning around 05 am, transfer to booking counter to reserve your jeep safari at Gorumara forest. After two hrs safari back to resort, get fresh and take breakfast. Moves towards Murti River – famous picnic spot for locals. Then visit to Jhalong, Bindu in the lap of Himalaya - The area is known for its diversified flora and fauna - Jhalong is on the bank of the river Jaldhaka on the Indo-Bhutan border in the foothills of the Himalayas, on the way to Bindu - Major attraction are scenic beauty, birds and the Water body - Bindu is the last village of West Bengal before one enters Bhutan on the bank of river Jaladhaka a natural physical boundary separating West Bengal and Bhutan - The place is also known for Ginger & cardamom plantations. On the way back visit Nature Interpretation center. Back to resort - In the late evening campfire & tribal dance at the resort can be arranged (Optional) - Night Stay at Resort in Lataguri.

• Day 3 : Excursion to South Khayerbari & Jaldapara National Park

  Early morning after Breakfast, moves towards South Khayerbari. There were eight tigers in South Khayerbari rescue centre of which seven had been seized from different circus troupes and one was brought from Alipur Zoo. The South Khayerbari Animal Rescue Centre is also the home of 18 leopards.
  A leopard safari (Optional and payable on the spot), the only one of its kind in India, can also be availed in South Khayerbari Eco Park.
  Jaldapara National Park’s visiting time is 09.00 AM to 04.00 Pm. This National Park is well known for 02nd highest population of Rhino in India after Kaziranga National Park. Return to Resort and take rest. Overnight stay at Jaldapara.

• Day 4 : Jaldapara to Lataguri Local Sight Seeing Samsing, Suntalekhola & Rocky Island

  Early morning Breakfast - Next one has to leave for Excursion – Visit Rocky Islands, Samsing, Suntalekhola in the lap of Himalaya - The area is known for its diversified flora and fauna - Samsing is a village at around 3000 feet known for its landscape, tea gardens and the forest. It is also a gateway to Neora Valley National Park. Suntalekhola is named from a stream named Suntaley - One can spot exotic species of birds and butterflies - Visitors can cherish the natural beauty of this hamlet. Overnight stay at Lataguri.

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 5 : Lataguri to NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport

  Your heart will never allow you to leave this place but your destination awaits you. Today you will depart from Gorumara / Lataguri with a cute smile on your face remembering all the sweet moments spent here and drive back to NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport for further journey. Today your tour with Northeast Tour ends. Fly back with sweet memories of Northeast Tour.
