The Mask Dance Festival In Paro Is Held Once Every Year In Order To Show Cast Buddhist Teachings Through Symbolic Representation. During The Festival Monks Will Preform Several Mask Dances Which Has A Deep Meaning About Buddhism.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Welcome to Bhutan

  On arrival to Paro international airport, you will be received by our tour guide and driver. After receiving, drive toward Thimphu which is the capital and the most developed district in Bhutan. On arrival to Thimphu, lunch will be served and sightseeing in major places like Buddha point (52 meters giant Buddha statue), Takin zoo (Bhutan's national animal), and Memorial Chorten which is a Buddhist stupa built in dedication for our Third King. After sightseeing Check in Hotel. over night in Thimphu

  • Meals & Drinks : Lunch- Continental Buffet Dinner- Continental Buffet

• Day 2 : Tango hike

  After morning breakfast drive towards Tango base for a 1-2 hours hike upwards to visit Tango Monastery which is an Buddhist institute for monks. After hike drive to Thimphu town for lunch. After lunch visit Traditional weaving institute to witness the weaving of our fabrics, visit paper factory and visit Tashicho Dzong which is a fortress of Thimphu valley and the office His Majesty the King. • Day 3 : Thimphu - Paro

  After morning breakfast, visit centenary Farmers market in Thimphu and drive to paro which would take about 2 hours drive. On arrival to Paro Check in hotel and lunch will be served. After lunch sightseeing in Kichu Lhakhang or temple which is one of the oldest temple in Bhutan, Free time in Paro town. Over night in Paro

• Day 4 : Paro Tsechu

  After morning breakfast, drive to Paro Dzong or fortress base for 20 minutes walk upwards to witness Paro Tshechu or Mask dance festival. The visitors will spend 1-2 hours in the festival. After the festival, lunch will be served and sightseeing in Drukyal Dzong or forstess which is a ruin. Over night in Paro

• Day 5 : Taksang hike

  After morning breakfast, drive towards Taksang base for a 2 hours hike. Lunch will be served on the way at a cafeteria. After the hike, drive back to hotel for a change of cloths and visit Bhutanese farm house for dinner. Hot stone bath is optional which would incur additional cost of USD 20 Per person.
