This tour begin in Phnom Penh and continue to Angkor, the 2 main destinations of Cambodia, with a schedule as follows: arrival the morning of first day and departure after the breakfast of the last day. It will be fitted out to your official arrival / departure times in Phnom Penh and Angkor as well as the related tariffs. It may start from Angkor depending on your flight schedule, program and tariffs being adapted accordingly.
Day 1 : International / Phnom Penh
Morning: Welcome to Phnom Penh airport by your guide and transfer to your hotel. Installation in rooms if available. Free time and lunch in a local restaurant.
Afternoon: First contact with the capital and visit the Wat Phnom, the Royal Palace housing the Silver Pagoda (first built in 1866 after King Norodom’s final installation in Phnom Penh following the abandonment of Oudong. All the components of the Royal Palace were reconstructed in hard, while maintaining the same architecture, in 1917, under the reign of King Sisowat), the National Museum (a magnificent Khmer classical ocher-colored building housing an admirable collection of Cambodia’s glorious past) and the Central Market (yellow-colored, built in the 1930s, consists of an immense dome and four wings that cover vast ramifications of walkways with goods stands). Lunch during visits and dinner in local restaurants, overnight at the hotel.
Option: Plae Pakaa show at National Museum performs in high and low seasons, which transports you to the different regions of the Kingdom, leading you through traditional ceremonies and celebrated dances, in the splendid gardens of the National Museum. Take part in this exploration of Cambodia’s rich culture inspired by the Angkorian era. Supplement +13USD per adult, +06USD per child.
Day 2 : Phnom Penh - Angkor
Morning:: Early morning transfer to the airport, welcome to Siem Reap airport by your guide and transfer to your hotel. Installation in the rooms if available.
Visit of Angkor Thom which, after the passage of the South Gate, brings together the Bayon temple, the Terraces of Elephants and the Leper King, the Royal Palace and the Baphuon. Lunch in a local restaurant.
Angkor Thom was built by Jayavarman VII from the end of the 12th century and acquired the status of capital for about 300 years. This is why we encounter in this city some later monuments, but also some that are anterior to the work of the king.
Afternoon: Visit the major temples such as Taprohm (superb and world-famous whose giant roots, which have grown over the centuries, enclose whole sections of walls and prevent them from collapsing) and the majestic Angkor Wat, the most famous and extensive monument of the complex, a masterpiece of Khmer art, whose central towers are the pride and symbol of an entire nation. The temple is surrounded by moats and galleries adorned with sumptuous bas-reliefs. Dinner in a local restaurant and overnight at hotel.
Day 3 : Angkor / International (or Phnom Penh)
After breakfast, flight to Phnom Penh or international.
The transfer to the airport for your international flight will be made 2 hours before departure of the aircraft. This transfer will take place 1 hour before takeoff if you take a domestic flight.
