The Indian Veterinary Research Institute campus established in 1893 is located here. You will find the little cottages and homes in Mukteshwar built in quaint Colonial style. Jim Corbett penned the novel "The Man Eaters of Kumaon" here. Mukteshwar allows a breath-taking view of Nanda Devi Peak.

Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Departure New Delhi and Arrival Mukteshwar (375 Kms 8 Hours)

Departure at pre decided point in New Delhi on time at 21: 30 hrs PM. And 22:30 hrs PM. Depart to Ranikhet on overnight travel by Etios Desire Car. Via Gaziabad – Hapur – Gajraula – Rampur – Haldwani - Mukteshwar
Overnight in the board.
Upon arrival at Mukteshwar, Check in to your pre booked Hotel called Ojaswi Himalayan Resort or similar located at Shitla Gram Mukteshwar, followed with breakfast,(Please note normal check in time is 1200 Hrs. Early check in is only requested and subject to availability at hotel/resort). Morning is at rest or leisure. 13:30 PM to 14:30 PM Lunch at hotel/resort at your own cost.Day at rest or leisure on your choice at resort with in house recreational activities available at resort or the evening you could head out for a short evening walk to the nearby sunset point. Mukteshwar is a Hikers Haven as you have scenic trails all around so feel free to head into any direction. Evening get rid of your day lethargy with cup of Tea/Coffee with Cookies. (Cocktail & Snacks if needed can be organized on prior intimation on additional cost with light music and bonfire in lawn subject to weather condition). Dinner at Resort

Day 2 : Mukteshwar

Wake up early morning with the chirping of birds to experience the awe-inspiring sunrise from behind the mountain ranges. Have a satiating breakfast & head off for a local site seeing tour of the Mukteshwar Township where you get to visit the colonial Jim Corbett’s Bungalow, used during his Tiger Hunting days. Visit to the Famous ChauthiJaali Cliff with a straight drop of approx. 2000 Ft. and offer your prayers at the Century Old Lord Shiva Temple. The adventurous few can also opt. for a Rock Climbing / Repelling session at the Cliff. Kids can try their hands on some archery, flying fox and ladder climbing. Return enroute lunch at your own cost. Day at rest or leisure for you individual activities or recreation facilities available at resort.if needed can be organized on prior intimation on additional cost with light music and bonfire in lawn subject to weather condition). Dinner at Resort
Cycling Enthusiasts can also get a cycling tour if need can be organized.

This morning after breakfast time to check out from Mukteshwar hotel and proceed back to your own destination, Arrive Gajraula in afternoon and take a break for lunch at your own cost, Later after continue your drive to New Delhi. Arrive New Delhi in evening approx. 19:00 hrs. PM and disperse.
