Package Overview

Upper Mustang trek, popular for the Kingdom of Lo is considered as the remote area of the Himalayan region and is also known as The last Forbidden kingdom. Especially, the inhabitants are Thakalis, Gurung, and Tibetans. The neighborhood right there speaks the Tibetan Language the most as this vicinity is encouraged by Tibetan culture and lifestyle. From the southward, river Gandaki flows towards Terai. “Above the Himalayan Trekking (p) LTD.” gives you 17 days upper Mustang Trek that’s surprising trekking into the far-off Trans-Himalayan mountain area of Mustang.

The upper Mustang trek takes you to the hidden world of the vintage Buddhist nation of Mustang which might be the most mysterious and least mentioned Kingdom fortunate with vistas such as uncommon and fascinating views of the snow-capped Himalaya, barren high plateaus, deep canyons, and an ocean of exposed hills, the colors of a desert sunset. Upper Mustang region is a land in which the soul of man is still considered to be as real as the feet he walks on. The lands are almost treeless, a steep rocky path up and down the hill and panoramic views of Nilgiri, Annapurna, Dhaulagiri and numerous distinctive peaks, barren panorama with a geographical area much like Tibetan plateau in which beauty and happiness prosper, will amaze you notwithstanding trouble. At some point of the Trek, the trekkers can be attracted with the useful resource of the thousand years historic monastery, caves, close by tribes and scenic splendor of various landscapes. The trek passes via excessive peaks, passes, glaciers, and alpine valleys. Mustang is the hinterland enriched within particular barren ridges, deep canyons, eroded cliffs and Moraine valleys. Upper Mustang Trek is underneath the rain shadow of the big Himalayas range whose panorama is unmatched for it has a phenomenal wasteland, pristine scenery, snowcapped peaks, mind-blowing 16th-century monasteries and many other precise points of interest.

The view of windswept Kali-Gandaki valley, big spaces around Kagbeni and big ridges, excessive mountains provide a mind-blowing experience. The sky is a shiny blue contrasting with the red, yellow and grey of the wind-eroded cliffs. In the overdue morning, the wind receives up and buffets you as you walk further into this parched land of wondrous beauty. The residence and monasteries in top Mustang have a medieval look and first-rate local structure built with stone and sun-baked dust bricks. Another enchantment in the Mustang region is the Tiji festival inspired with the aid of Tibetan Buddhism, that’s timed to coincide with the end of the dry season (late winter/spring).

Very little intrusion from the modern world makes this region Nepal’s natural and cultural treasure. Mustang’s history, as well as its natural and cultural treasures, have made it one of the most mysterious and intriguing trekking destinations in Nepal. For those who love challenges, Mustang Trek would be the enormous and adventures’ trekking as traveling around the challenging trail off the Tibetans path round the Trans-Himalaya area of Nepal makes it possible.
