The lagoon is filled with fishes that drift in from the sea along with the tides. Seals gather in large numbers at the mouth of the lagoon to catch the fish during winter, whichis a sight to watch. Guest Review
"We booked the Northern Lights Winter Wonder in Feb 2015. Its was absolutely one of the most enjoyable holidays i have been on. The tour itself was magnificent; the Golden Circle, Glaciers, the Glacier Lagoon and Blue Lagoon were highlights over the 3 days were touring. The tour guide was so friendly, helpful and very funny which made the experience even more enjoyable. On Sunday, the day we were due to go to the Blue Lagoon and back to Reykjavik, we found ourselves stranded right in the middle of a heavy snow storm. The staff at the hotel in Vik couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating with our additional stop over, and the staff at All Iceland responded to my emails and assisted with any queries i had with the extension of the trip. The following day, our tour continued to the Blue Lagoon and back to Reykjavik. With help from Jorunn (All Iceland), our transfers to the airport were rearranged and we made it to the airport a day later with no issues. Id like to thank all the staff at Icelandair Hotel, the staff from All Iceland and our tour operator for making our trip so enjoyable. I will, without a doubt, be returning to Iceland in the future, perhaps in the summertime to see some of the wildlife and for some glacier walks. "Thanks again, Stephanie and Grant "
