Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Agra Visit. We See Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Baby Taj

  Taj Mahal: We explore the Taj Mahal, a splendid monument built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1632-1654 A D in the memory of his wife Mumtaj Mahal. It took 22 years to build it with an estimated cost of 32 million Indian rupees (over US $1 billion at the time). About 20000 labourers were recruited from all over Asia and more than 1000 elephants were used to transport the building material. The structure was adorned with of 28 types of precious and semiprecious jewels, some of which imported from Tibet and China.
  
  
  
  Agra Fort: This imposing structure is a symbol of Mughal powers acquired in the past. It opens from sunrise to sunset. Its main parts are
  Sheesh Mahal; the royal dressing room
  The Diwan-i-Aam; communications ground between the public and the ruler
  Diwan-i-Khas; for welcoming dignitaries and kings
  Khas Mahal; a palace
  Nagina Masjid; mosque for the ladies of the court
  
  Baby Taj Mahal (Tomb of Itimād-ud-Daulah): Itimād-ud-Daulah (Baby Taj) is a Mughal mausoleum and very beautiful red sandstone structure. Itmad-ud-Daulah means ‘Pillar of the Government’. Though it is not as stunning as Taj Mahal but it is more delicate in appearance due to extensive use of finely carved marble lattice screens. Night rest.

• Day 2 : Drive Towards Mathura and Sightseeing. We See Top Sites of Mathura.

  Dwaarkadheesh Temple: Built in the year 1814, Dwaarkadheesh Temple is one of the most outstanding temples of Mathura. Its beauty and architectural magnificence is astonishing. Located in the heart of the city it are the most visited sites of Mathura.
  
  Krishna Birth place: The highly revered tourist spot in Mathura is the birth place of Lord Krishna. It is believed that the present temple is built over spot of the prison where Krishna was born. It is a must visit if you are in Mathura.
  
  
  Rangbhoomi: Rangbhoomi is a tourist spot of much mythological significance. Legend says, this was the ground where Krishna killed his maternal uncle in a bout and set his parents free.
  
  Kusum Sarovar: This 450 feet long water body dating back to the time of Lord Krishna is the most interesting among the Mathura tourist destinations. It has many flights of stairs from sides and it is very deep water body. On half an hour walk from this place there is another famous place known as Radha Kunj.
  
  After exploring major spots we begin back trip to Jaipur for drop at preferred location.
