In the past, there was a Tibetan resettlement project running in this region, but now there is an army check post, and we'll be registering our permits at Ghoda Tabela. However, we will continue trekking further past Chymki Village (3,230m) on a trail adorned with prayer flags. Since your path will be ascending, you will trek slowly to provide your body enough time for acclimatization. Soon after, you will come across water mills, prayer wheels, and sacred mounds of rocks with inscriptions on them. It indicates that we have arrived at the ancient monastery of the Kyanjin Gompa.
