This itinerary is ideal for maximizing game viewing and enjoying exclusive activities not allowed in the main national reserve.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Nairobi & Transfer

  Arrive at JKIA. Take a domestic flight (approx. 45 min) from Nairobi's Wilson Airport (WIL) directly to the Mara. Settle into your camp and enjoy an introductory Afternoon Game Drive.
  Tented Camp/Lodge (Conservancy or Reserve)

  • Themes Game Drives
• Day 2 : Private Conservancy

  Full days of Game Drives in the Conservancy. Private Conservancies (like Olare Motorogi or Naboisho) offer Night Game Drives and Guided Walking Safaris, which are not permitted in the main reserve. This area usually has lower vehicle density for a more exclusive feel.
  Tented Camp/Lodge in a Conservancy

  • Themes Game Drives
• Day 3 : Private Conservancy

  Morning activity in the Conservancy. Transfer across to a camp or lodge located within the Maasai Mara National Reserve itself, often near the Mara River. Afternoon Game Drive in the main reserve.
  Tented Camp/Lodge in the Reserve

• Day 5 : Maasai Mara Reserve

  Full Day Game Drive, including a Picnic Lunch in the bush. Focus on the Mara River (potential crossing point during the Migration season: July-Oct) and the vast open plains of the Triangle.
  Tented Camp/Lodge in the Reserve

  • Themes Game Drives
• Day 6 : Mara Reserve Activities

  Early Morning Hot Air Balloon Safari (optional, highly recommended) followed by a celebratory Champagne Breakfast upon landing. Rest/relax by the pool. Afternoon visit to a local Maasai Village (Manyatta).
  Tented Camp/Lodge in the Reserve

  • Themes Game Drives
• Day 7 : Departure

  Final Early Morning Game Drive. Return to camp for breakfast. Transfer to the local airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi (WIL), then transfer to JKIA for your international flight.
