Char dham Yatra 12D/11N Tour

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival

  Departure to Haridwar (205 Kms)
• Day 2 : Arrival at Haridwar

  Arrival at Haridwar. After fresh up in Choultry and breakfast, proceed to Rishikesh (24 Kms), Visit Shivananda Ashram, Ram Jhoola, Swarg Ashram, Geeta Ashram, Lakshman Jhoola. After lunch proceed to Barkot (216 Kms/ 7 Hrs).
• Day 3 : Departure to Hanumanchatti (32 Kms / 1.5 hrs)

  Departure to Hanumanchatti (32 Kms / 1.5 hrs). Later take a local Jeep to Janakichatti to shorten your trek by 5 kms. Proceed to Yamunotri temple by walk / pony / Doli. (Approximate charges for both ways by horse would be ` Rs.800/- to `Rs.1200/- and doli ` Rs.2,500/- to Rs.3,500/-). Return to Barkot.
• Day 4 : Proceed to Uttarkashi

  Leisure time till noon. After Lunch, Proceed to Uttarkashi (100 Kms./ 4 Hrs). Upon arrival, Check into hotel.
• Day 5 : Departure to Gangotri (100 Kms./ 5 Hrs)

  Departure to Gangotri (100 Kms./ 5 Hrs). Upon arrival at Gangotri, take a Holy Dip in the sacred Ganges, Perform Pooja and return to Uttarkashi.
• Day 6 : Departure to Srinagar

  Departure to Srinagar (160 Kms./ 8 Hrs). Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.
• Day 7 : Srinagar to Dharee Devi Temple

  After breakfast, depart from Srinagar to Dharee Devi Temple - Kaliya Saur (15 Kms). Later proceed to Rudraprayag (35 Kms), view the confluence point of 2 Holy rivers - Alaknanda and Mandakini. Drive to Okhimat (42 Kms ), visit Shri Omkareshwar Temple (This is the place where the Pooja is performed for 6 months while the Kedarnath Shrine is closed). Later drive to Gupta Kashi (10 Kms), visit Shri Kashi Viswanath Temple (Arthanariswar Temple) and further to Rampur (24 Kms), check into Hotel. Evening at leisure. Overnight Stay.
• Day 8 : Depart to Sonprayag / Gaurikund (12 Kms)

  Depart to Sonprayag / Gaurikund (12 Kms). And then proceed to Kedarnath (19 Kms.) by pony. After performing Pooja & Darshan of Shri Kedarnath ji return to Gaurikund and then to Rampur by Coach . Overnight stay.
  NOTE:
  
  In case you are traveling by Helicopter / Pony / Doli, the return will be on the same day with night stay at Rampur. Those who are traveling by Pony/Doli (19 Kms. approx. each way), have to start the trek early in the morning of Day 8, so that you can come back on the same day.
  For those who are not able to go or get the Registration for visiting Kedarnath, the alternative programme for Day 7 would be as follows:
  
  After breakfast, proceed to Triyuginarayan Temple (19 Kms - one way), the Holy place where Lord Shiva and Parvathi got married. Tourists will have to go there by local jeep. Later drive to Gaurikund to visit Gauri Mata Temple. Then drive to Rampur, on the way you may visit Mund Katiya Temple (Ganesh Temple 3+3 kms. By trek). Tourist will have to trek for 500 mts. (One side) Which is a narrow route. Later return to Rampur. Evening visit Durga Temple at Rampur (half a kilometer by trek). Overnight Stay.
  The buses cannot ply /move in the places mentioned in the alternate tour itinerary. The passengers will have to hire jeeps /cars available locally, for which the cost will be approximately Rs.250/- to 500/- per head extra.
• Day 9 : Departure to Badrinath

  Departure to Badrinath (238 kms./ 12 Hrs). Upon arrival, check into hotel.
• Day 10 : drive to Pipalkoti (79 Kms./ 4 Hrs)

  Morning after darshan of Shri Badrinath ji, visit Mana village, the last village before the Indo - Tibetan border. After Lunch drive to Pipalkoti (79 Kms./ 4 Hrs). Upon arrival, check into hotel.
• Day 11 : Departure to Haridwar (241 kms./ 10 hrs)

  Departure to Haridwar (241 kms./ 10 hrs). Have Holy bath in Ganges, and Harati in the Ganges at Hari-Ki-Pauri in the evening. After dinner Proceed to Delhi.
• Day 12 : Arrival at Delhi

  Arrival at Delhi. Tour concludes.
