  The pickup from Nairobi went very well, and our driver, Julius, was excellent - he explained everything very well in English and allowed us to stop and take pictures at will on every game drive. The private 4x4 Land Cruiser Jeep was super comfortable, dust and sand were no problem. Among the Big Five, lion, elephant, buffalo and giraffe were easily seen, and even a cheetah was seen hunting - unbelievable! I enjoyed visiting the villages of the Maasai people and seeing their culture, dance and way of life. The camp was clean, the food was delicious (especially breakfast and dinner). 2 nights wasn't enough, I want to go again! Being a private tour, we have the same flexibility as the group. ...more

  I have completed Bencia's 7 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha & Amboseli Budget Safari. Booking with Alfred was easy - he answered every email and call quickly, and even suggested the best photo spots for the season. Our driver-guide, Joseph, was outstanding: sharing interesting facts about wildlife, passion, animals, and Maasai culture, and spotting a leopard on a tree branch at sunset! The highlights were endless - huge herds of elephants in front of snow-capped Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, and white rhinos, hippos and birds in Lake Naivasha, and lions, cheetahs in the Mara Plains. The budget accommodation was well-maintained (good beds, clean facilities, power points) and the food was plentiful and delicious - breakfast buffet, packed lunch, and dinner barbecue under the stars. The group size was perfect for building friendships, and the pace was active but not exhausting. Bencia offers really good value - professional, fun and unforgettable. ...more

  One of the most memorable moments of our 4-day Masai Mara safari was stopping the jeep on the open plains to see a stunning scene - a herd of topi antelope on one side, and a few zebras walking calmly in the middle. It felt like watching a living painting of the African wild. Our guide Michael was excellent - he knew exactly where to stop without disturbing the animals. The luxury accommodation, well-timed game drives, and updates on animal sightings made the trip smooth and enjoyable. Even the food was impressive.   Although I started as a solo traveler, I made new friends on this group tour, which made the whole trip twice as enjoyable. Standing on the shores of Lake Nakuru and watching thousands of flamingos felt like time had stopped. Watching the buffalo and elephants on the game drive in Masai Mara was breathtaking.
