    We had a wonderful 12 days. The first was a game drive in Kenya's Masai Mara, and we saw numerous lions, zebras, and deer. I was really surprised to see the Great Migration of the Mara River in front of my eyes. Then I went to Lake Nakuru, where rhinos and thousands of flamingos were seen. From Amboseli to Mt. Kilimanjaro, the view was beautiful. At the end, seeing so many animals together in Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania felt like I was in the best place in the world.     This 12-day private safari was a dream come true for our family. From spotting a lion in the Maasai Mara National Reserve to spotting a flock of pink flamingos in Lake Nakuru - every day was incredible. Elephant watching in the backdrop of snow capped mountains of Kilimanjaro in Amboseli National Park is an absolutely priceless experience. And seeing the numerous wildebeest migrations in Serengeti National Park, it seemed like we were watching the world's largest nature drama live.     On the first morning of my journey from Nairobi, I felt as if I had stepped into another world. Not only the road, but the villages on both sides of the road, the green valleys and the occasional wild animals - all this seemed to paint a new canvas in the eyes. The moment I entered the Masai Mara, the sight of the endless wilderness came to my mind. On the evening of the second day, as the sun slowly tilted to the west, the entire savanna was filled with golden light - the most magical moment of the trip.     I travelled to Kenya as a female solo traveller and from the very beginning Uwezo Tours made me feel completely safe and comfortable. As soon as my flight landed in Nairobi, a friendly representative greeted me and took me to my hotel. Then began my Maasai Mara safari - organized and on time, I enjoyed every moment. My guide treated me like a sister the entire time - this attitude is truly commendable, especially for a solo traveller.     LaMara put together a great luxury safari for me. Hit Amboselli the Nakura...3 nights 4 days. Our driver tour guide Nelson was the best...aka Kevin Hart from Jumanji....Nice toyota 4*4 Land Cruiser safari vehicle....Nelson knows his stuff and is great at finding animals....We scored Lions both days in Amboslli...the bomb....The elephants are incredbile in Amboselli.... Is a long haul to Nakura from Amboselli so dont know if I would recommend the 1 night in Nakura. But i didnt mind...saw rhinos there....Both lodges o takai and ziwa in nakuru were great.. waking up to the plains sunrise...nice....book the luxury...you only live once... Office staff excellent also....thanks LaMara... ...more
