  The pickup from Nairobi went very well, and our driver, Julius, was excellent - he explained everything very well in English and allowed us to stop and take pictures at will on every game drive. The private 4x4 Land Cruiser Jeep was super comfortable, dust and sand were no problem. Among the Big Five, lion, elephant, buffalo and giraffe were easily seen, and even a cheetah was seen hunting - unbelievable! I enjoyed visiting the villages of the Maasai people and seeing their culture, dance and way of life. The camp was clean, the food was delicious (especially breakfast and dinner). 2 nights wasn't enough, I want to go again! Being a private tour, we have the same flexibility as the group. ...more

  Our 5 day safari trip with Bencia Africa Adventure and Safaris was very well done. First of all, going to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and seeing the northern white rhino was a really different experience. A visit to Sweetwater's Chimpanzee Sanctuary is also a must. Then the sighting of numerous flamingos and rhinos in Lake Nakuru was the major attraction of the trip. Spending the last days at Masai Mara was the best part of the safari - I got to see the lion, elephant and giraffe up close. Accommodations were clean and the food was good.   The 6-day private jeep ride with Natural World Kenya Safari was a colorful discovery. Samburu National Reserve has given us animals that we don't see anywhere else—Grevy's zebras and reticulated giraffes. The sea of thousands of flamingos in Lake Nakuru is a living painting, and the rhinoceros and many species of birds there have enriched the experience. Towards the end of the tour, we witnessed a lion hunt from close quarters at the Masai Mara, which thrilled the entire group.   One of the most memorable moments of our 4-day Masai Mara safari was stopping the jeep on the open plains to see a stunning scene - a herd of topi antelope on one side, and a few zebras walking calmly in the middle. It felt like watching a living painting of the African wild. Our guide Michael was excellent - he knew exactly where to stop without disturbing the animals. The luxury accommodation, well-timed game drives, and updates on animal sightings made the trip smooth and enjoyable. Even the food was impressive.   I went on a 4-day trip with four friends. We have so many memories of traveling together. The guide showed us the places of interest. Masai Mara's game drives were a great experience, and I enjoyed watching the animals in the cool morning air. Accommodation was clean and safe, food was plentiful, and service was as per choice.
