  The pickup from Nairobi went very well, and our driver, Julius, was excellent - he explained everything very well in English and allowed us to stop and take pictures at will on every game drive. The private 4x4 Land Cruiser Jeep was super comfortable, dust and sand were no problem. Among the Big Five, lion, elephant, buffalo and giraffe were easily seen, and even a cheetah was seen hunting - unbelievable! I enjoyed visiting the villages of the Maasai people and seeing their culture, dance and way of life. The camp was clean, the food was delicious (especially breakfast and dinner). 2 nights wasn't enough, I want to go again! Being a private tour, we have the same flexibility as the group. ...more

  What a wonderful tour! We wanted the private tour to take its own time, and this 12-day safari provided just that. I've seen great wildlife in both Kenya and Tanzania. In Masai Mara lions, leopards, elephants - all have been seen from close. Seeing flocks of flamingos and rhinos on the banks of Lake Nakuru was a very special experience. On a clear day in Amboseli, Mt. Seeing Kilimanjaro is a truly memorable moment. At the end, the Ngorongoro Crater amazes us - the animals around, the beautiful scenery, and the tranquil atmosphere.   I have completed Bencia's 7 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha & Amboseli Budget Safari. Booking with Alfred was easy - he answered every email and call quickly, and even suggested the best photo spots for the season. Our driver-guide, Joseph, was outstanding: sharing interesting facts about wildlife, passion, animals, and Maasai culture, and spotting a leopard on a tree branch at sunset! The highlights were endless - huge herds of elephants in front of snow-capped Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, and white rhinos, hippos and birds in Lake Naivasha, and lions, cheetahs in the Mara Plains. The budget accommodation was well-maintained (good beds, clean facilities, power points) and the food was plentiful and delicious - breakfast buffet, packed lunch, and dinner barbecue under the stars. The group size was perfect for building friendships, and the pace was active but not exhausting. Bencia offers really good value - professional, fun and unforgettable. ...more

  On this trip, I had the opportunity to visit three of the best African destinations together. At the beginning of Masai Mara all the marvellous scenes were seen - lions, cheetahs and large grasslands filled with the joy of life. Then in Lake Naivasha I got the quiet touch of nature with the calm boat ride of the lake and the chirping of the birds. When I finally reached Amboseli, I was fascinated by the rows of elephants in the backdrop of Kilimanjaro.   LaMara put together a great luxury safari for me. Hit Amboselli the Nakura...3 nights 4 days. Our driver tour guide Nelson was the best...aka Kevin Hart from Jumanji....Nice toyota 4*4 Land Cruiser safari vehicle....Nelson knows his stuff and is great at finding animals....We scored Lions both days in Amboslli...the bomb....The elephants are incredbile in Amboselli.... Is a long haul to Nakura from Amboselli so dont know if I would recommend the 1 night in Nakura. But i didnt mind...saw rhinos there....Both lodges o takai and ziwa in nakuru were great.. waking up to the plains sunrise...nice....book the luxury...you only live once... Office staff excellent also....thanks LaMara... ...more
