  The pickup from Nairobi went very well, and our driver, Julius, was excellent - he explained everything very well in English and allowed us to stop and take pictures at will on every game drive. The private 4x4 Land Cruiser Jeep was super comfortable, dust and sand were no problem. Among the Big Five, lion, elephant, buffalo and giraffe were easily seen, and even a cheetah was seen hunting - unbelievable! I enjoyed visiting the villages of the Maasai people and seeing their culture, dance and way of life. The camp was clean, the food was delicious (especially breakfast and dinner). 2 nights wasn't enough, I want to go again! Being a private tour, we have the same flexibility as the group. ...more

  I have completed Bencia's 7 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha & Amboseli Budget Safari. Booking with Alfred was easy - he answered every email and call quickly, and even suggested the best photo spots for the season. Our driver-guide, Joseph, was outstanding: sharing interesting facts about wildlife, passion, animals, and Maasai culture, and spotting a leopard on a tree branch at sunset! The highlights were endless - huge herds of elephants in front of snow-capped Kilimanjaro in Amboseli, and white rhinos, hippos and birds in Lake Naivasha, and lions, cheetahs in the Mara Plains. The budget accommodation was well-maintained (good beds, clean facilities, power points) and the food was plentiful and delicious - breakfast buffet, packed lunch, and dinner barbecue under the stars.   Our 5 day safari trip with Bencia Africa Adventure and Safaris was very well done. First of all, going to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy and seeing the northern white rhino was a really different experience. A visit to Sweetwater's Chimpanzee Sanctuary is also a must. Then the sighting of numerous flamingos and rhinos in Lake Nakuru was the major attraction of the trip. Spending the last days at Masai Mara was the best part of the safari - I got to see the lion, elephant and giraffe up close. Accommodations were clean and the food was good.   Our 4 day trip was a great experience. It's nice to see rhinos and giraffes in Lake Nakuru. The view from the hippos on Naivasha's boat ride was incredible. I went to Masai Mara and saw lions, cheetahs and elephants. The guide was very knowledgeable and the whole trip was well organized. A very memorable trip indeed. ...more
