  This was the first time my friend and I tasted a Kenyan safari. Bencia Africa Adventure & Safaris has put in a lot of effort to provide a good experience - that has to be appreciated. John was a guide driver, very patient and experienced with animals. In Amboseli, he showed us an elephant family that was slowly making its way across a water body. After waiting for a long time in Tsavo East, I saw a lion. Our guide told us that their stomachs are full, so they are lying idle in the shade of the trees. Although the experience was memorable, some things need to be improved. At one of our campsites, the water pressure in the toilets was low, and sometimes there was no hot water. One day lunch arrived too late because the car had not left the camp in time. Still, I'd say this trip was a real safari experience - real woods, roughness, and animal touches. ...more

  On this six-day safari trip, I got a chance to visit five different national parks, and each place is full of its own characteristics. The colors of the dry, volcanic soil of Tsavo West, Mount Kilimanjaro in the backdrop of Amboseli, the lakes of Naivasha, and the grasslands of Maasai Mara - all are eye-catching. It was great to see the animals and take pictures. Most of the Big Five can be seen.   This three-day safari from Mombasa was absolutely cinematic! On the very first day, we saw a huge herd of red elephants in Tsavo East. Standing next to the Galana River, for a moment it felt like I was inside a National Geographic show! Bencia's team, especially our guide Philip, was very professional and told a great story.
