  I went to Africa for the first time with Seven Wonders Safaris. I was a little nervous at first, but I realized I had made the best decision. Our guide Jackson is a magician! Where is the lion hiding, where is the leopard sitting on a tree? I will never forget the sight of baby wildebeests running after their mother and hyenas roaming around in Ndutu. After descending into the Ngorongoro Crater, it seemed that all the animals of the world were gathered in one place. In Lake Manyara, cameras filled up to take pictures of flamingos and pelicans sitting on trees. The place to stay was beautiful, there was hot water in the bathroom, there was chicken, fish and vegetables in the food, even bread was available. The price is absolutely worth it.   As soon as I entered Lake Manyara, I saw many birds - some on the lake's edge, some flying in the sky. Then as we went down into the Ngorongoro Crater, the whole place opened in front of our eyes, it seemed like a small world. Elephants, giraffes, zebras - everyone is walking in their own way.   I am an ardent traveller and thus I planned to visit WILDLIFE SANCTUARIES in Tanzania. On searching the net I selected Open Earth Tours for the Tour Package. The reason being the itinerary, selection of hotels and a very competitive price. The itinerary covered all the major sanctuaries Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire. The safari vehicle was excellent and the Tour Guide was so well versed with area that he took us to the location where the action was. We could observe Lions chasing buffalo, Cheetah chasing deer, Elephants, Buffalos, Leopards, Girrafe, Zebras and what not ?. The Tour manager was in constant touch with us enquiring about the Tour. The whole tour was excellently planned right from airport pick up till airport drop. Whlie Airport drop the tour manager went out of the way & took me the Mount Kilimanjaro sighting point.   We had a lovely 15-days African safari trip through Ol Pejeta (1 Night), Samburu (2 Nights), Lake Nakuru (1 Night), Masai Mara (2 Nights), Serengeti (3 Nights), Ngorongoro (1 Night), Tarangire (1 Night), Lake Manyara (1 Night) and Amboseli National Park (2 Nights). Esther- our tour organizer was very good with communication in response to our queries very promptly. Our safari drivers, Patrick in Kenya and Salu in Tanzania were exceptionally skilled and knowledgeable. Their warm personality and expertise made the journey not only educational but also deeply enjoyable. We opted for the luxury option and the accommodations were very good.   We never imagined that we would have such a diverse experience in just four days. On the first day in Tarangire National Park, the whole family was shocked to see a huge elephant herd. The Baobab tree and the giraffe roaming under it - a postcard scene. The next day at the entrance to Ngorongoro Crater, the guide said, "Keep your eyes open!" - Indeed, in a short time I could see the lion, the buffalo, and even the black rhino resting in one corner. That day was like a dream. The last two days at Serengeti National Park were the highlight of our safari. It was heartwarming to see the vast meadows, the cheetah race, and the lion pride in the distance. Seven Wonders Safaris perfectly arranged the whole trip. ...more

  We went at the right time-the Mara River crossing was underway. The moment when the herd of wildebeests crossed the river, avoiding crocodiles, was like a scene from a documentary! Our guide Elias knew exactly where to go at what time. We were also amazed to see lions sitting in trees in Manyara. Every moment of our seven-day trip was a vivid chapter. ...more
