This is a half-day excursion to the capital city Banjul and her environs. The objective of this excursion is to expose the newly arrived Tourist, to the main tourist centers within the greater Banjul area.
Departing from your Hotel, we proceed to the capital city, Banjul where we shall visit the Gambia National Museum and the famous Banjul market. From here, we drive through the main streets in Banjul and head for Serrekunda, the most densely populated town in the Gambia.
In Serrekunda, we shall visit the famous Tye & Dye, Batik workshop, here, you will have the chance to see and buy various aspects depicting Gambian Arts & Craft. After 30 – 40 minutes, we shall proceed to Bakau a costal town. Here we shall visit the Bakau Tourist Market and the famous ‘Katchically Crocodile pool”, and we will have lunch afterwards.
After this visit we proceed back to our hotel. Arrival time in hotels will be by 1400 hours.
