Day 1 Ho Chi Minh City To My Tho

Ben Tre River Cruises

07:30 08:00 pickup at your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City and depart by road to My Tho, approximately 1.5 hours. Visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, one of the most impressive Buddhist temples in the Mekong Delta. Board a local boat and cruise along the Mekong River passing the region's famous Four Islands. Explore an island, visit a tropical fruit garden, taste fresh seasonal fruits and enjoy a performance of traditional Southern Vietnamese folk music. Visit a local honey farm to sample honey tea and discover the traditional process of making coconut candy. 12:30 enjoy a local riverside lunch featuring Mekong Delta specialties including fried elephant ear fish and Dinosaur Egg. After lunch take an optional short cycling ride around Tan Thach Village to discover local life or relax in a hammock and enjoy the peaceful countryside atmosphere. 15:30 depart for return to Ho Chi Minh City and arrive around 17:30 for hotel drop off and end of services.
