Arrive Guwahati & drive straight to Bhalukpong. O/n at Bhalukpong.

Drive to Dirang en-route stop for lunch at Bomdila & visit to the Bomdila Monastery , proceed further to Dirang.. Overnight at hotel.

Drive to Tawang via Sela Pass (4120 m)  about 6 hrs and 180 kms the  with beautiful mountain views all-around. While reaching closer to Tawang one can see the beautiful monastery  from for away with fantastic views. Tawang is located at 3300 m altitude and approximately 40,000 inhabitants. Its main attraction is its great monastery where 400 Lamas are living. It is the birthplace of the sixth Tsangyang Gyatso Dalai Lama (1683 - 1706) and it is this city that the current Dalai Lama came from Tibet. The library with ancient manuscripts is particularly remarkable as the great hall which houses a huge golden statue of Buddha. Overnight at hotel .

After an early breakfast visit of  Ptso Lake/Sangestar (Madhuri) Lake & later to 400 years (17th century) old Tawang Monastery which is the second largest monastery in the world after Potala Palace in Tibet. The building is about 113 feet longhand 80 feet wide and houses valuable antiquities, books and manuscripts-handwritten and printed & Tawang War Memorial, a 40 foot high multi-hued memorial, has a structure constructed in stupa design. Dedicated to the martyrs of Sino-Indo War held in 1962, this memorial is nestled among beautiful peaks, which overlooks the Tawang-Chu valley. Rest of the day free to stroll round the streets of the town. Overnight in Tawang

Today after an early breakfast drive back to Bhalukpong enroute stop at Dirang for Lunch & proceed further to Bhalukpong . O/n at Bhalukpong.
