Day wise Itinerary

Day 1

Shimla – Sangla - (160 Km In Approximately 05 Hours)

Today drive from Shimla to sarahan, while the highway straight will take you towards Spiti Valley, there will be a road on your right going uphill towards Sarahan. Its located at the main bus stand / chowk at Jeori and is a steep climb to Sarahan.
Primary attraction here is the famous Bhimakali temple, dedicated to the mother goddess Bhimakali. There is also a bird sanctuary at Sarahan that is worth a visit, but remains closed from April until late July due to bird mating season. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 2

Sangla - Chitkul - Sangla (40 Kilometres In Approximately 3 Hours)

Today explore the ancient Kamru Fort and Temple which is dedicated to the Goddess Kamakhya Devi which was brought from Assam. Afternoon, leave for an excursion to Chitkul, the last Village on an old Indo-Tibetan trade route. Walk through the green orchards and enjoy the serenity as a brilliant stream passes by. As the day ends, return to the hotel in Sangla for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 3

Sangla – Kalpa (49 Kilometres)

This morning drive to Kalpa. 2670 metres above the sea level, Kalpa is the district headquarter of Kinnaur and was once the favorite getaway of Lord Dalhousie. Once known as Chini, little has changed in Kalpa in the last 500 years. Legend has it that when Lord Dalhousie wanted to take a break from his hectic schedule in Shimla, he would come here on his Horseback. By the side of Kalpa is a 79 feet high rock formation that resembles a Shivlinga that changes its colour as the day passes.
Visit the Buddhist Gompa, Hu Bu Lan Kar. Return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Day 4

Kalpa - Nako - Kalpa (120 Kilometres)

Morning drive toward nako, There isn't much to do or see around here but it is indeed a very nice and silent small village. If you are up for for trekking, then look out for a flag at one of the nearby hill. Trek up to that spot to see a panoramic view of the village and the mountains around it. It is also a great sunset viewing spot.
Visit Nako lake and drive towards kalpa for overnight stay.

Day 5

Kalpa - Shimla (230 Kms In Approximately 7-8 Hours Journey)

Morning check out from hotel and proceed for Shimla, evening reach Shimla check in to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 6

Shimla - Kalka

Morning checkout from hotel and drive toward Kalka /Chandigarh, drop at Chandigarh airport for you onward journey to your home.

If any passenger fails to follow timings given to him, then he may miss that particular sightseeing / transfers and Vyas Travels will not be responsible to arrange the same. He / She Needs to arrange the same on direct payment basis.

Rohtang Pass remains closed on every Tuesday for maintenance purpose.

You can hire the snow-wears on the way to Snow Point, Manali on direct payment basis.

24 - 15 Days prior to the operation of the booked tour 25% of total tour cost

14 - 08 Days prior to the operation of the booked tour 50% of total tour cost

07 - 03 Days prior to the operation of the booked tour 75% of total tour cost

Please note: All cancellation charges will be furthermost subject to the consideration of those engaged in arranging the itinerary. We will use all our powers to erase the cancellation charges and negotiate for the lowest possible charges.
