Climate & Geography
The temperatures in Sudan do not vary according to the seasons but according to the area. The northern parts are marked by an arid climate while a wet and dry climate prevails in southwest Sudan.
Sudan is surrounded by the Red Sea to the northeast, by Egypt to the north, Eritrea and Ethiopia to the east, South Sudan to the south, Chad to the West, Libya to the northwest and the Central African Republic to the southeast. Sudan is situated between latitudes 8 degrees and 23 degrees N.
