    Ayurveda is the oldest and most reliable healing science known today. The Sanskrit word "Ayurveda" means knowledge of life. Ayurveda is prescribed by Indian sages millions of years ago and now it's the most popular system emerging in western countries for treatment of all kinds of ailments.


  • AYURVEDIC HEALTH TIPS FOR TRAVELERS

    • Most of the travelers suffer from travel related illness while traveling. All travelers should prepare to protect themselves from such illness. Following Ayurveda health tips should always be kept in mind before heading for any traveling destination.
    • Ayurveda states that traveling leads to vitiation of "vata dosha". Vata Dosha determines all activities of human body including excretion, respiration, digestion, reflexes, transmission of nerve impulse and body movement. Traveling imbalances vata dosha which leads to illness. Try to eat light food. Prefer taking pomegranate, ginger and curds in your diet while traveling.
    • You can also get infected from fatigue, giddiness, nausea and vomiting which could lead to motion sickness while traveling. Avoid consuming alcohol, pain killers, spicy foods or junk foods during traveling.
    • If you are suffering from indigestion, poor metabolism or gas problem while traveling, drink ginger juice up to 2ml with warm water or have club soda with a pinch of salt and pepper powder.
    • Cold and cough is the most common ailment while traveling. Common Cold can be treated by having mixture of Ginger Powder; Ghee (Clarified Butter) and Jaggery (Brown Sugar) early morning. Cough can be cured by taking a glass of warm milk with added one tablespoon of Turmeric powder. You can repeat these tips several times of as per the condition of traveler.

  • AYURVEDIC SKIN CARE TIPS FOR TRAVELERS

    1. ACNE, PIMPLES AND BLACKHEADS

    Reason: According to ayurveda, acne and pimples are outcome of aggravation of "Tridosha" or three energies of human body. These ailments happen because of excessive intake of tea, coffee, spice, oil and fried eatables. Acne and pimples can also be caused due to exposure to pollution and harmful chemicals.
    Cure: Make a paste of one tablespoon of sandalwood powder, turmeric powder and milk and apply on pimples and acne. You can also treat it by washing your face thoroughly and applying paste of one tablespoon coriander juice mixed with a pinch of turmeric powder.

    2. PIGMENTATION

    Reason: Ayurveda states that pigmentation is caused due to imbalance of "Bhrajaka Pitta" which is responsible for color of skin. Discoloration, blackening, tanning and pigmentation are the outcome of excessive exposure to sun rays, irregular eating and sleeping.
    Cure: Mix grinded five almonds with one tablespoon of fresh cream and few drops of lemon juice. Apply on the neck and face and remove it after 15 minutes. You can also cure discoloring of your skin by applying papaya juice or mashed papaya on affected areas of body.
