Sidh Baba Ka Mandir

Sidh baba ka mandir is one of the sacred places in Chail. It is located at a height of 8000 ft. from downtown Chail, and established on a hill between Rajgarh and Pandhawa. The local inhabitants of Chail have firm faith that this mandir is the guardian of success of Chail.

History

Built in 1891, it is supposed that Maharaja Bhupender Singh wished to build this temple next to his palace. However Sidh Baba came in his dream and asked him to construct it at the current site where he was constructing his palace earlier. Sidh Baba Ka Mandir is a venue of holy emotion and every traveller visits this temple to adoration and take the consecrations of Sidh Baba. How to reach Sidh Baba mandir Chail?

Chail is very near to Shimla almost 47 km and the taxis and buses are accessible from Shimla to reach here. The adjoining major railway station is in Kalka, which is 77 km away. Though, toy train runs from Kalka to Shimla. You can also take that to reach Shimla or take a bus or a taxi from Kalka to reach Chail.
