Climate & Geography
The low lying areas in the southern parts of the country have a hot climate and the northern highlands are temperate in nature. The period between November and April is warm with rainfall and thunderstorm. The rest of the months are considerably dry in comparison.
Malawi is comprised of lakes, mountains, valleys and plateaus. The Zomba mountain peak measures 7,000 feet (2,134) and the Mulanje mountain peak is of 10,000 feet in height.
