Depart NAIROBI at 1.00pm to Amboseli National Park to arrive at Sentrim Camp at 6.00pm for dinner and overnight at Oltukai Lodge Amboseli

Wake up for a morning breakfast at 6.30am, later at 7.30am depart for game drives to this premium park. Amboseli National Park is one of the best places to see elephants in Kenya. In addition to the elephants, you may also see the zebra, hippopotamus, buffalo, spotted hyena, waterbuck, Maasai giraffe, Thomson's and Grant's gazelle, impala, lion and cheetah. The rare gerenuk and the fringe-eared Oryx can also be spotted in the arid northern part of the park. Most mammals stay around the swamps during the day and move towards the hilly countryside before night. The birdlife is also abundant as about 420 species of birds have been recorded in the park. Amboseli National Park is the perfect location for viewing Africa’s tallest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Amboseli National Park is home to the largest concentration of elephants in the world and the big five, elephant, lion, rhino, buffalo and leopard. It has other attractions such as Lake Amboseli, Lake Jipe and Observation Hill. Visit either the enkongo narok swamp, Ol Tukai swamp or the olokenya swamp. The swamps are oasis in these arid and dry surroundings and are the finest areas of the park, as they offer a wide variety of habitats for mammals and birds and many fresh grasses and aquatic plants. The presence of swamps is due to the streams running down from the Mt Kilimanjaro towards Amboseli plains. All streams are underground; there are no permanent rivers around the park. You will do game drives upto 10.30am. return to the Lodge to swim and relax until Lunch time at 12.40 pm, Later at 1.30pm hours depart Amboseli National Park back Home after a very exciting safari to Amboseli, popularly known as Kilimanjaro Royal Court.
