2 Day Tanzania Safari, Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park (The Land of Giants)
After an early breakfast, your dedicated safari guide will meet you at your accommodation in Arusha or Moshi. We depart immediately for Tarangire National Park.

Morning Game Drive: After a scenic 2.5-hour drive (approx. 140km), we enter Tarangire, famous for its massive elephant herds and ancient Baobab trees. The Tarangire River acts as a magnet for wildlife, providing fantastic opportunities to see lions, giraffes, zebras, and over 550 bird species.

Lunch: Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch at a designated viewing spot inside the park.

Afternoon Exploration: We continue the game drive before leaving the park in the late afternoon.

Overnight: Dinner and overnight at a comfortable mid-range lodge in the nearby Karatu area, perfectly positioned for the crater descent tomorrow

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater Descent & Departure
The most spectacular day of your safari starts with an early wake-up and breakfast.

Early Descent: We drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area entrance and descend 600 meters (2,000 feet) onto the floor of the majestic, intact Ngorongoro Crater.

The Big 5 Safari: You will spend 6 action-packed hours game driving in this natural wonder. The crater is home to the highest concentration of wildlife in Africa, including all the Big 5, with excellent chances to spot the elusive Black Rhino.

Mid-Day: Enjoy your final picnic lunch at the hippo pool within the crater.

Return Journey: In the mid-afternoon, we ascend the crater walls and begin the drive back to Arusha. Your guide will ensure you are dropped off at your hotel or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) in time for your evening departure
