Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 Guwahati Airport / Rly Station – Shillong

On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station, transfer to Shillong (4,900 ft.), which is called ‘Scotland of the East'. En route, visit Umium Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 2 Excursion To Cherrapunjee

Nohsngithiang Falls

After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day adventure to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), famous for being one of the wettest places on the planet. Along the way, take a moment to appreciate the stunning Elephanta Falls, enjoy the breathtaking views from Mawdok–Dympep Valley Viewpoint, and visit the remarkable Garden of Caves. Upon arrival, experience some of Cherrapunjee’s most incredible natural attractions, including the magnificent Nohkalikai Falls (the tallest plunge waterfall in India), the captivating Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), and the intriguing limestone formations within the Mawsmai Caves. In the evening, return to Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 3 Shillong Sightseeing – Guwahati

Don Bosco Museum

After breakfast check out from the hotel and visit Don Bosco Museum (Sunday closed) & Ward’s Lake. After that drive to Guwahati. Arrive and check in at your hotel. In the evening we suggest an optional tour of a golden sunset cruise on the Brahmaputra (direct payment by own means). Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Day 4 Hotel – Guwahati Airport / Rly Station

After breakfast, visit Kamakhya Temple (Notes - Timing: 08:00 A.M. to 01:00 P.M. & 3:00 P.M. until dark). Transfer to Guwahati Airport / Railway Station for your onwards journey. Note: The temple visit will depend on your departure time and may be done the previous day.
