  You’ll spend another full day at Meru National Park during your honeymoon safari, with both morning and afternoon game drives. The park’s landscape is quite varied, featuring everything from expansive plains with numerous rivers to woodlands on the Nyambeni mountain slopes, northeast of Mount Kenya. You’ll have the chance to see elephants, hippos, lions, leopards, and cheetahs. Plus, there are some rare antelope like the Lesser Kudu and the tiny dik-dik—an elusive little antelope standing just twelve inches tall. Meru also boasts some of the largest herds of buffaloes, giraffes, gazelles, and hartebeests around. Bird enthusiasts will be thrilled by over 400 species here; you’ll spot Peters Finfoot alongside rollers, bee-eaters, starlings—and plenty of weavers too.
