Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel, residence, or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After meeting your Trek Afrika Adventures safari guide, you'll travel south through the Kenyan countryside towards Amboseli National Park, one of Africa's most photographed wildlife destinations. You'll arrive in time for lunch before heading out on your first afternoon game drive. Amboseli is famous for its enormous elephant herds that wander freely across open plains with Mount Kilimanjaro providing one of Africa's most spectacular backdrops. If the skies are clear, you'll enjoy incredible views of the continent's highest mountain rising above the clouds. Besides elephants, keep your eyes open for lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, gazelles, and more than 400 species of birds. As the sun sets over the park, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Wake up early for a full day exploring Amboseli's remarkable landscapes. Visit the famous Observation Hill, where you'll enjoy panoramic views across the park's swamps, plains, and wetlands. Today is dedicated to discovering one of Africa's greatest wildlife destinations. After an early breakfast, head deep into the Maasai Mara with picnic lunch for a full day of game viewing. You'll also have excellent chances of seeing cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, crocodiles, jackals, antelope, and hundreds of bird species. If you're travelling between July and October, your guide will take you towards the Mara River, where thousands of wildebeest and zebras cross crocodile-filled waters during the spectacular Great Migration.
