About Beas Kund:
Beas Kund is a high altitude thousand-year-old alpine lake that sits royally amidst the mountains of Himachal Pradesh at an altitude of 12,800ft. This taint less beauty is the origin of Beas River, which is believed to be the water body where Sage Vyas use to take bath while he meditated and wrote Hindu epic Mahabharata.

About the Trek:
Lush green grasslands flourish below the summits of the three biggest mountains around Manali and hidden in these grasslands is the emerald lake. The contrasting sight of this serene water body nestled in between jagged mountain peaks of Pir Panjal range adds to the beauty of the lake and that makes it an amazingly picturesque travel destination and an even better summer trek, to rewind and
rejuvenate amidst nature. Your camping experience at the campsite of Bakarthach, under the star-studded sky, will be an experience worth remembering.

Day 1

Arrival at Manali. Reporting in the camp

Arrival at Manali. Reporting in the camp, introduction and guidelines about the trek or high altitude activity like acclimatization walk. Overnight stay in the camp.

Day 2

Base Camp to Bakar Thach Trek (More than 5 hrs)

Jeep ride from base camp to Dhundi trek point (1hour 30 minutes). Trek will be starts from Dhundi to Bakar Thach. The trek consists of meadows terrain including forests till Bakar Thach Camp site. Bakar Thach is also famous for Mountaineering courses and extreme climbers. Amazing view of mountains and nature. Overnight stay in camp.

Day 3

Bakar Thach to Beas Kund to Bakar Thach (3 to 4 hrs)

Early morning after breakfast trek starts to Beas Kund with gentle height. The Magnificent view of the mountains, photography, some famous peaks like Hanuman Tiba, Friendship peak, Deo Tiba during the trail. Bush area, boulders, glaciers, plain meadows can enjoyed during the trek. Return to base camp at Bakar Thach. Overnight stay in Camp.

Day 4

Bakar Thach to Dhundi to Manali (More than 5 hrs)

Next morning Bakar Thach to Dhundi downhill till to road head. Trek end and Jeep ride return to Manali.
