  Arrive at Almaty International Airport. After clearing border control & customs, are local representative will meet you & transfer you to your hotel in Almaty. The mountainous city of Almaty is Kazakhstan's financial and cultural capital. Almaty is a garden city surrounded by majestic mountains of the Trans-Ili Alatau, covered with evergreen coniferous forest. So, Almaty conquers the hearts of travellers at first glance. This city is surprisingly, with its scale - huge majestic modern buildings, endless green alleys and avenues, and all of this is surrounded by snow-white mountain peaks.

  Explore the city of Almaty by quickly getting acquainted with discovering major. Areas of interest – During this introductory tour, you will visit the First President Park, Republic Square, State Opera and Ballet Theatre, museums at the Academy of Sciences, Abay Square, Kazakhstan Hotel, Palace of the Republic. Panfilov Park & Zenkov Cathedral: The Park is named and dedicated to the Panfilov Heroes who were 28 soldiers of an Almaty Infantry. Their memories are etched at the fearsome war memorial east of the Zenkov Cathedral which depict soldiers from all 15 soviet republics on the map of USSR. The Park is lush green area and it’s a good place to sit, rest, relax and see the bustling sights of the city. Zenkov Cathedral: is one of the most beautiful, magnificent, and architectural monuments of the city of Almaty with the height of 56 meters and is in the green Panfilov Park of Almaty. A. Zenkov had supervised the construction of this cathedral in the early 19th century and legend goes that it was built without a single nail. But unfortunately, it’s not true. Although the design is remarkably unique but it’s because of the advanced technological expertise of that time. Kok Tobe Hill: Kok Tobe is the highest point in the city of Almaty, standing on a 1100 m hill at the south-east edge of the city. It is worth a visit to Kok Tobe because of its panoramic view of the city from all directions. To reach the Kok Tobe hill, one should take a cable car ride which starts near Hotel Novotel and goes over some of the oldest parts of Almaty and the magnificent fruit-growing gardens. Once you reach the Kok Tobe hill, you will see the famous 372 m high TV Tower, which is visible from far and offers great views of the mountains and the city, plus many attractions at the top, including many restaurants serving cuisines from across the globe.

  Enjoy breakfast at the hotel & check out. Today we depart around 09:00 AM for an excursion to Black Canyon & Kolsay Lake. Kolsay Lakes (Known as the “Pearl of the Tien Shan” the Kolsai Lakes are situated about 300 km from Almaty, nestled in the Kungei-Alatau mountain range, often referred to as “Kazakh Switzerland.” This stunning destination features three breathtaking mountain lakes, each surrounded by dramatic slopes and forming a cascading series. The lower Kolsai Lake lies at 1,800 meters above sea level, the middle lake at 2,250 meters, and the highest at 2,800 meters, creating a mesmerizing natural staircase of pristine beauty.

  Breakfast at the hotel and check out of the hotel; put luggage in the cloak room. Depart from your hotel at 9:00 for a day trip to Kaindy Lake ( heads to the Lake via an adventurous trip of a 4x4 ride followed by a Horse ride, one of your adventurous trips to Kazakhstan). Take a shuttle from the hotel parking to the checkpoint, then take a horse ride towards Kaindy Lake. Visit Kaindy Lake, famous for its submerged forest and turquoise waters, offering a unique landscape for exploration. Proceed to Charyn Canyon & explore Charyn Canyon, often referred to as the Grand Canyon of Asia, known for its dramatic rock formations. Enjoy the seven canyons throughout the valley of canyons & Charyn River in the end. Return to Almaty for an overnight stay, where you can unwind and reflect on your adventure.

  Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. In just 1 hour, you can get from Almaty city center to its highest point (3200 meters) and drink coffee in the highest bar in the CIS using a 3 3-tier world-class Gondola. On Shymbulak, you can have a great time even if you can’t ski or snowboard. An all-day entertainment for the whole family is provided by cafes and restaurants with excellent cuisine, an observation deck with powerful binoculars that rotate 360 degrees, and a playground. For those who want to enjoy the mountain silence and admire the snowy slopes, the resort offers high-class hotels and various kinds of adventure activities such as Zip Lining, Paragliding, Horse riding, etc. Later in the evening, we proceed with the Panfilov & Arbat Walking Tour. Evening walk around Panfilov promenade. The promenade which overlooks the Kazakh Opera & Ballet theatre is lined with small shops, eateries, cafes & and beautiful lights. You will enjoy hearing many local musicians singing songs & playing local musical instruments. The tour will end on Arbat Street, with lots of shopping outlets and street entertainment.
