Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Delhi, transfer to Shimla. (380kms/ Approx 09 hrs )

  Arrive Delhi Airport/Station and depart for Shimla by road. Shimla the state capital of Himachal Pradesh is surrounded by pine Deodar, oak and rhododendron forests. Shimla was also the summer capital of the British Raj. Arrive Shimla and check into your hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 2 : In Shimla - local sightseeing

  This morning after Breakfast enjoy an excursion to Kufri, and Naldehra. Kufri has some good hiking trails and ski slopes, cedar forests and excellent picnic spots. Naldhera’s spruce pines, old English style cottages and popular golf course, the oldest in India is a must see. Afternoon visit to the Mall, stately mansions, and curiosity shops. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Shimla onto Manali (260kms/ Approx 08 hrs

  After early breakfast, depart for Manali by road Enroute Visit enchanting Kullu Valley on River Beas. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 4 : In Manali - Local Sight Seeing

  This morning visit Hidimba Temple, Manu Mandir, Vashisth Kund and Naggar Art Gallery.Afternoon free for shopping. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at the hotel

• Day 5 : In Manali excursion to Rohtang Pass Road (Snow Point)

  ON YOUR OWN After early breakfast enjoy a breath taking drive to Rohtang Pass-(51 Kms) on the highway to Keylong/Leh. The Pass is open from June to October and is a gateway to Lahaul,Spites, Pangi and Leh Valley. Return to hotel and overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Manali onto Chandigarh (292kms/Approx 08 hrs)

  After breakfast, depart for Chandigarh by road visiting a Kullu shawl factory enroute Arrive and transfer to hotel in Chandigarh.Overnight at the hotel.

• Day 7 : Chandigarh to Delhi (283kms / Approx 07 hrs)

  Today after breakfast depart for Delhi by road for onward journey.

• Please note rooms are subject to availability. We are not holding any rooms.


• Jhakoo Temple is situated on the Mall Road in Shimla. Tourist vehicles are not allowed on the Mall Road and hence the clients have to hire local vehicles on sharing basis and direct payment basis. Jhakoo Temple being on a hill, it’s advisable to vis it the same before dark. Clients can visit the temple first and then enjoy their time on Mall Road.


• In Naldehra and Kufri, beyond the car parking, it is advisable to hire a pony on direct payment basis because of the bad road conditions; though it’s a short distance and can be trekked on foot.


• Few hotels / resorts used in the packages are located on the outskirts of the towns; specifically selected to avoid crowed areas and traffic congestions in the peak season.


• You can hire the snow-wears on the way to Snow Point, Manali on direct payment basis.


• Please consult driver / local representative for next day’s sightseeing schedule / Transfers timings. If any passenger fails to follow timings given to him, then he may miss that particular sightseeing / transfers and Thomas Cook will not be responsible to arrange the same. He / She Needs to arrange the same on direct payment basis.


• It is mandatory to carry photo ID card (except Pan Card) while you are on tour.


• Most of the hotels offer complimentary heaters or are centrally heated. However, some hotels might charge extra for the heaters provided. The cost for these heaters is not included in the package cost and has to be directly paid at the hotel. The cost may vary from INR 100 to INR 300 per heater per night.


• Rohtang Excursion : the client can take the local State Transport Bus and visit Rohtang. The frequency of these buses is good. The client has to get the tickets from the Bus Depot at Mall Road. The client can also connect with the hotel staff for further guidance and timing schedule of the buses. The local cabs charge somewhere between INR 2200 to INR 6000 depending on the demand-the hotel reception shall guide the guest on the same.


• In case the client doesn’t want to visit Rohtang anyway, he can go for-Naggar sightseeing (half day), Jana Waterfall trail (half day), Kullu (full day),Manikaran (full day). Note that all the above mentioned sightseeing won’t be possible in one single day connect with the sales or the Ops for a suitable plan.


• All domestic Hotels/Transport rates are based on current tariff & subject to change with


• out prior notification; the revised rates will be charged extra. All
