Bhutan in Nutshell Tour

Welcome to the land of thunder dragon : You are received on arrival at Paro Airport and driven to your hotel. No pre-planned activities for the day. Overnight at hotel.

A Historic Valley: After breakfast you set out for a full day sightseeing in and around Paro covering Paro National Museum to look at an impressive collection of thangkas & statues; Druk-ul-dzong (a 17th century sentinel fortress); Taktshang Monastery that is perched precariously on a cliff 900 m above the floor of Paro Valley; & Kitchu Monastery. Overnight at hotel.

Youthful & exhuberant Capital of Bhutan : After breakfast you go for the sightseeing that covers Dechenphodrang Monastery and Thimpu Chorten. You also see Trashichodzong better known as fortress of the glorious religion. It houses the throne room of the king, the national assembly & other Govt. departments etc. Overnight at the hotel.

Erstwhile Capital of Bhutan : After breakfast full day excursion trip to Punakha and back. Punakha is a sub-tropical valley where food grains, vegetables and fruits grow in abundance. Overnight in Hotel at Thimpu.

Go Shopping : After breakfast you can go for shopping. The Centenary Farmer's Market is a colorful market chock-a-block with local produce and handicrafts. Another option is to visit the textile museum. Later drive to Paro where you make an overnight stay.

Tour ends : After breakfast you are transfered to Paro Airport for your onward journey.
