Churen Himal trekking is a newly opened trekking trail in the Himalayas for those adventure seekers who wish to explore paths that haven't been traveled often and its beauty of nature, the wild valleys and panoramic Himalayan ranges. This trek takes us through off the beaten trails where exotic trekkers are rare to see. The highlight of the Churen Himal trek, Churen Himal is a peak belonging to the western Dhaulagiri family. Since this is a new and non-tourist area, we will have a golden opportunity to explore exclusive and wandered places and views of the Himalayas.

The Churen Himal Trek commences in the historical yet modern city of Kathmandu, a 9 hour picturesque drive through the Prithvi Highway will lead us to Beni. Followed up by, a trek to the beautiful Churen Himal through the foot of the Dhaulagiri Massif, isolated Magar villages, hamlets, deep and narrow gorges across Myagdi Khola until Sibang and then we cross Jalja-la (3430m), Dhorpatan and the hunting reserve, Gurjgaun. In the Churen Himal trek, we will have a lifetime experience to trek into the mass of the Dhorpatan hills at about 3000 - 4300m along with White Water Rivers, fast glacial streams, dense and lush forests and exotic animals.Sightseeing or any extra activities except the above program

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival At Kathmandu Airport.

  Upon your arrival at airport, meet one of our trek leaders and transfer to hotel. In the evening, we will organize a meeting to brief you about your trek and introduce your trekking guide and collect 3 pieces of your passport size pictures to issue the permits. Overnight at hotel.
• Day 2 : Rest, Shopping and Packing or Sightseeing of Kathmandu Valley.

  Breakfast will be at hotel, upon your request we can organize a half day sightseeing of Kathmandu valley. This day is a kind of a free day too and we issue all the necessary permits on this day. In the evening, we conduct a final briefing about your great trek. Overnight at hotel.
• Day 3 : Drive from Kathmandu to Direct Beni, 9 Hours Journey.

  After breakfast, we take a taxi to go to New Park from where we are driving to Beni, it will take almost 9 hours to reach Beni. On the way we will stop for Lunch and pee breaks will often happen. As an option we can fly from Kathmandu to Pokhara and drive to Beni, this way we can cut off 6 hours bus drive. The flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara is only 35 munities, this is also known as a stunning mountain flight. Overnight at tented camp in Beni.
• Day 4 : Trek from Beni to Bhabichaur

  Overnight at tented camp.
• Day 5 : Trek from Bhabichaur to Dharapani

  Overnight at tented camp.
• Day 6 : Trek from Dhrapani to Lamsung

  Overnight at tented camp.
• Day 7 : Trek from Lamsung to Jaljala Bhanjyang.

  Overnight at tented camp.
• Day 8 : Trek from Jaljala Bhanjyang to Gurjaghat

  Overnight at tented camp.
• Day 9 : Trek from Gurjaghat to Rupachaur

  Overnight at tented camp.
• Day 10 : Trek from Rupachaur to Gurja Gaun

  Overnight at tented camp.
• Day 11 : Trek from Gurj Gaun to Lamsung

  Overnight at tented camp.
• Day 12 : Trek from Lamsung to Khibang

  Overnight at tented camp.
• Day 13 : Trek from Khibang to Malkapang

  Overnight at tented camp.
• Day 14 : Trek from Malkapang to Pakhapani

  Overnight at tented camp.
• Day 15 : Trek from Pakhapani to Beni.

  Overnight at local guest house.
• Day 16 : Drive from Beni to Kathmandu or Pokhara

  If you would like to explore Pokhara city then we can organize a tour for you, please let us know if you are interested. Overnight at in Kathmandu or Pokhara.
• Day 17 : Kathmandu

  If you were driving directly to Kathmandu, on this day in Kathmandu you will do some final shopping and in the evening join the fare well dinner host by one of our team leaders at a typical Nepali restaurant. Enjoy the meal and drink and celebrate your great trek. Overnight at hotel.
• Day 18 : Departure

  Transfer to Airport, fly back to home.
