Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Bhubaneswar

  On arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station met by our representative & transfer to the hotel.
  
  Later if time permits, half day sightseeing of famous city temples,
  1. Lingaraj Temple, ( the biggest temple in Bhubaneswar).
  2. Parsurameswar Temple,
  3. Mukteswar ( known as the 'gem of Odia architecture' )
  4. Rajarani Temple. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.

  • Hotspots Rajarani Temple, Lingaraj Temple
• Day 2 : Excursion to Diamond Triangle

  After Breakfast drive to the diamond triangle of Odisha -
  1. Ratnagiri (has a rich concentration of Buddhist antiquities),
  2. Lalitgiri (oldest Buddhist center of Odisha).
  3. Udaigiri (largest Buddhist complexes in Odisha). Return to Bhubaneswar. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.

  • Meals & Drinks Breakfast
• Day 3 : Bhubaneswar - Dhauli - Pipli - Konark - Puri

  Morning after breakfast:
  1. Drive to Puri.
  2. Enroute visit Dhauli the peace pagoda (is also one of the much famed Buddhist sites at Odisha & here emperor Ashoka underwent a psyche change and abandoned war for the rest of his life, in the 3rd century BC),
  3. Pipli the applique work village.
  4. Konark Sun temple.
  5. On arrival at Puri check in to the hotel.
  6. Later visit to Jagannath temple (non hindus are not allowed).
  7. Relax on the golden beach of Puri. Overnight at Puri.

• Day 4 : Puri - Chilika - Gopalpur

  Morning:
  1. Drive to Chilika lake at Barkul (the largest brackish water lake).
  2. At Chilika take the boat 'cruise to explore the birds' island & Nalabana island.
  3. Then proceed to Gopalpur and check in to the hotel. Overnight at Gopalpur.
• Day 5 : Excursion to Chandragiri

  After breakfast:
  1. Drive to Chandragiri (situated in between the lush green forest - a unique destination for the Buddhist & it is the largest Buddhist monastery in Asia) to visit the Tibetian settlement.
  2. Back to Gopalpur & Overnight.

  • Meals & Drinks Breakfast
• Day 6 : Gopalpur - Bhubaneswar

  Morning:
  1. Drive back to Bhubaneswar.
  2. Enroute visit Khandagiri & Udaigiri Jain caves.
  3. On arrival check in to the hotel.
  4. Later visit to State museum.
  5. Ekamra Haat. Overnight at Bhubaneswar.
• Day 7 : Departure transfer

  Morning transfer to Airport / Railway Station for onwards journey.
