Arrival transfer from the airport to the Hotel. Overnight stay.

After breakfast, depart from the hotel for a walking tour. (NO TOUR LEADER DURING THE STAY IN ROME). Visit St. Peter’s Basilica, Navona square ,the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain. In the afternoon explore the rest of the city at your own leisure or take an optional tour. Overnight stay.

Early morning departure for ASSISI, the mystic town of saint Francis still surrounded by ancient walls. Explore at your own leisure the tiny town, visit the Basilica of saint Francis with its early Renaissance masterpieces by Giotto and Cimabue. Visit Montepulciano,a medieval town famous for its “nobile” wine and for the annual Jazz Festival. Continue to FLORENCE. Dinner and overnight.

Buffet Breakfast. Guided sightseeing tour of the cradle of the Renaissance. Visit the beautiful Piazza del Duomo, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore, Giotto’s Bell Tower, the Baptistery of St .John the Academy of Fine Arts Gallery housing the “David” by Michelangelo, and Santa Croce, the 13th Century Franciscan church with the famous Cimabue’s crucifix. Rest of the day at leisure for optional sightseeing tours or shopping .Dinner and overnight.

Buffet breakfast. Departure for Venice via PADUA, where you will visit the famous Cathedral of St Anthony, guarded by Donatello’s “Gattamelata”. Continue to Venice and upon arrival enjoy a guided walking tour of this unique city. Exterior view of the Basilica of St. Mark, the Doge’s Palace, the Bridge of Sights and the Prisons. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Buffet breakfast. Morning tour to a glass factory (optional shopping) to see the moulding of the famous venetian murano glass or optional tour. Dinner and overnight.

Early morning departure from Rome to NAPLES, where a panoramic view of the city is offered. Then on to POMPEII, the famous Roman city destroyed by the volcanic eruption of Mt. Vesuvius in 79 A.D. Lunch in a local restaurant , and afterwards visit of the excavations. Proceed to SORRENTO. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Continental breakfast. Departure for CAPRI by boat. Weather and sea conditions permitting, visit the Blue Grotto. Return to Marina Grande and then transfer to Anacapri. Lunch in a tpical restaurant followed by a visit of Augustus. Gardens with a view of the Faraglioni. Return to Rome and overnight stay.
